no rationalisation on dtl2 yet but speculate that rationalise marine parade end with 76. funny leh.

same 518 got low loading except few time slot and very uni-direc loading.

Even numerous transfers will not take more than 20 minutes (which is the time wasted on DTL1 - 10 stops from Rochor to Jalan Besar!). Personally I know some people commuting between DTL2 and future DTL3, and they already complain about how windy DTL is. They would probably not prefer a direct route even when DTL3 is in operation.
DTL3 commuters are going to be disappointed. There is no direct transfer from DTL3 to prominent places such as Orchard and Bugis, and this hinders any progress in DTL rationalisation. Thus we may end up seeing most commuters transfer to buses at Jln Besar or Bencoolen instead.
If only Bencoolen and Bras Basah are virtual interchanges.
Brief revival.
Three months down the road since DTL2 opening, not much movement. Seems that there's high chances of the routes staying as they are, for the time being.

The Bencoolen & Bras Basah as a virtual interchange seems possible unless they create at link pass between the two station.
I think commuters can alight at Bencoolen and walk slightly to The Cathay...

for Ubi Station, there is 58 & 63 (63M)...but I suppose the residents do not mind walking to Blk 311 bus stop and take 25/854. But talking about it does makes sense
For Kaki Bukit station, dont touch any of those services. All of the 5 services along Kaki Bukit Ave 1 ply along Alkaff Mosque where passengers can transfer to services from there. Do note that each of the services going to Bedok/TAM are unique and therefore should never be amended

Some Bedok Reservoir Rd services can be diverted to Jln Damai, Kaki Bukit Ave 1 and Jln Tenaga. In this way no bus stops will be skipped and the only drawback is 5 mins of additional traveling time. 228 does seem like a good choice.
And since when is 58 serving Ubi MRT? It plies Ubi Ave 3 when Ubi MRT is at Ubi Ave 2...
I am referring to the fact that if a bus service serves the entire Ubi area and connects with other areas, 58 wouod have an indirect link to Ubi MRT.
Though I wonder if 60 can do the same. Might want to include 8 & 21 too, but has to be analysed carefully
Be prepared to see svc 51,61,67 all kena chopped into halved and a new service cover the deleted sectors.

If only.
LTA might want to delete 65 from existence but I think keeping it might be wise, with fleet reduction.
67 can terminate at Sims Pl if there is space. 65 can cover LTI-TAM section. 66 better not to touch.

If 67 can touch why not 66?The objective is to halved those long winding routes.Bndep 66 can carry on with the amended route(loop at Rochor Canal) while a new service looping at Rochor Canal from J East.

Hi mr iveco, sims place is a roadside terminal. The last time I went there, I don't think they still got space to accommodate smrt 67. Cheers. Thanks.

518 weekend loading not bad... In fact it could get too good sometimes...

518 highest loading is during weekday peak hours and also Saturdays,Sundays so so la..But dont be suprised to see fully seated Citaros after 9.30am too.The service can sustain le else you will see LTA withdrawn long time ago..You know some commuters they prefer to pay extra to take express which guranteed them seats and also bus stop skippings. In fact i support if LTA make 513 full day service..I dont really mind the 18-25 mins off peak freq too.

Random thoughts on DTL3 route changes / amendments:
- DT21 Bencoolen: At least one more service westbound / southwestbound (e.g, to Orchard, aside from 65). Can be a short trunk starting from Queen St Term. Doesn't really need return services, given that it is within walking distance to the bus stop at Rendezvous Hotel. Also, possible extension of 972 to Queen St / Stamford Rd.
- DT22 Jalan Besar: Could use a bus stop for northbound bus services. Currently there's only 23 to loop around to Serangoon Rd. Weld Rd can be converted to be bi-directional and bus-friendly if necessary. 57 can take a short detour via Perak Rd, Upp Weld Rd and Jln Besar.
- DT23 Bendemeer: Decently close to Bendeemer Rd bus stop, but not to Serangoon Rd bus stops. Would be good to have more services along Kallang Bahru going northbound and possibly passing over to Boon Keng MRT station.
- DT24 Geylang Bahru: The services expressing along PIE (5, 59, 506) can stop at the bus stops near here. Depending on need, can include 518 / other premium services as well.
- DT25 Mattar: 125 can make an additional loop here. Also can have a new service to link to Potong Pasir estate / future Bidadari Int.
- DT27 Ubi: Extend either one of the services along Eunos Link to detour into Ubi Ave 3 / Rd 3 / Ave 2 to improve connections, perhaps to Hougang Ave 3 or Bedok. Could introduce a new short trunk from Eunos / HGDEP to serve other parts of the industrial estates as well. (My suggestion here)
- DT28 Kaki Bukit: Extend 228 to loop at Kaki Bukit MRT. Or, divert 22 along Jln Damai and Kaki Bukit Ave 1, with deleted sections still served by 8.
- DT30 Bedok Reservoir: Links needed to & from Bedok North Rd / St 3 / Ave 4.
- DT31 Tampines West: Some of the services along Ave 1/5 may be diverted to serve Ave 4 alongside 22 and 46.
- DT33 Tampines East: Some Tampines trunks can be diverted to link this station with neighbourhoods such as St 32/34 and St 42/43/45. (My suggestion here)

Geylang Bahru: It will defeat the purpose. Bus service along the expressway is faster mode.
Kaki Bukit: Re-do everything, such as the bus stop reinstatement to provide connectivity.
Bedok Reservoir: Within walking distance.
Tampines West: Within walking distance to Temasek Poly/Tampines GreenTerrace. Resolved everything.
Tampines East: Within walking distance of any service. No need a change.

Really? Have you tried walking from Bedok Reservoir MRT (or, its would-be location) to Bedok North Ave 1/4? From Tampines East MRT to the inner areas of Tampines Ave 9, St 43/44/45? Even if you are very able-bodied, how confident can you say that your views represent all / majority of the residents in those areas?
Wait till DTL3 opens, then we'll see.
Not sure whether this is the correct thread, but a handful of CCK residents to downtown will take 190 to the 2nd bus stop after the expressway, and change to the DTL
Actually I have to agree of what he says. Tampines East MRT is near to Tampines MRT although I got no idea where is exactly the station. From there, you have 293/28 to take you there to those streets. You want less walking, alight at Tampines MRT instead. From there, you even have 72/72A waiting for you at the int to Tampines Ave 9
For Bedok Reservoir MRT, I understand as the walking distance is far and there is no way that the DTL can take you back to Bedok. However, I would consider if you take 60 from Bedok North MRT where the route would DIRECTLY bring you to Bedok North Ave 1. To get to Bedok North Rd/Ave 4, I dont really suppose if 17 should make a loop at Tampines Int like how 3 loops at Pasir Ris Int. Like that people can alight at Tampines MRT and take 17 from there or from Tampines Ave 7 where 17 is there as well. To Bedok Street 3, people should just go walk instead. Its not like it takes 5 blocks to get to the street
Most commuters would rather prefer going direct by the loop.
For example:
Tampines - Promenade via DTL3 & DTL1
Tampines - Bukit Panjang, Cashew & Hillview via either DTL2/EWL or DTL2/DTL1/DTL3
Tampines - Rochor via DTL3 to Jalan Besar/Bencoolen or EWL/DTL2 to Rochor/Bugis.
Is it me or Sv960 has lesser demand now?
A bendy bus can be seen with a few standees and seats fully occupied on weekends 7+ :o Weekdays don't seems to have packed buses, and almost everyone gets a seat
