Service 103 could have left behind and extended from New Bridge Road to Jurong East. I should not switch to the NEL. I can take Service 62, 81, 82, 97, 103, 106, 111 and 502. The Potong Pasir Bus Stop has 13, 107, 133, 142, 147 and 853. After that, it would have Service 13, 62, 81, 82, 97, 103, 106, 107/M, 111, 133, 142, 147, 502 and 853

You must also reply to the threads I replied
I honestly feel that Service 82, 103 and 511 will end at Jurong East, 62 and 81 end at Bukit Merah, 97 and 111 end at Hougang, 106 end at Serangoon, 502 and 512 will end at Sengkang, which wants me to joyride them one by one

You must trigger thoughts, and allow route duplication (Recommended by the LTA)
Service 62 and 103 should be left behind while Service 103 can be extended to Jurong East. Service 97 should be left behind while Service 502 can be extended back to Sengkang. Service 81 should be left behind while Service 82 can be extended to Bukit Merah
Service 62, 81, 82, 97, 103, 106 and 111 (Both of them) should be left behind and maintain the link at Little India-Farrer Park-Boon Keng-Potong Pasir- Woodleigh-Serangoon-Kovan-Hougang
Stop amending Service 951E. Let it copy 665

The truncation of the bus services to Northeast is being off settled by circle line implementation. With circle line, many northeast residents do rejoice. The authorities did introduce peak hour express services for sengkang residents. Soon another peak hour service will come to Punggol. But the way I see it, they are just scant consolations.
Who says adding trains to NEL is not a solution? It is one of the best solutions. The capacity will be largely boosted by arrival of 6 to 7 new trains for NEL. The frequency is currently not that great. This plan has already been endorsed long time ago and status is just waiting for the trains. You need large capacity trains to move people out of Northeast fast. Buses cannot take up this role. Cheers. Thanks.
Buses will take up more passengers and I always take 49 every Saturday
Service 501 can be re-routed to start from Boon Lay and end at Shenton Way

- MRT breakdown. So? Very rare/occasional issue. Even if it does, you have free shuttle buses deployed. No one's asking you to take the public bus services. SMRT is clearly working on it with the sleeper replacements and orders for more trains, don't complain.
- MRT-bus rationalisation. Due to transport system relying mostly on the subway (i.e. MRT), for maximum deployment efficiency. History / debate on it here and here. Don't like it? Blame Ong Teng Cheong / LKY. Though there's nothing else you can do about it.
- Don't like squeezing? Too bad, SG has one of the densest populations in the world, 5+ million on ~700 sq km. All trains and popular bus services will be packed during peak hours. Don't like it? Go to work/study in a less crowded area, or migrate and leave SG.
- Still don't like it? Too bad. Transport systems adjust to the needs of the majority. If you are in the minority, you just have to adapt. Don't expect the transport system to adapt to YOU because you are oh so important, it doesn't work that way.
No more rationalisation happening
