The LTA should bring back Service 501.
Service 97, 106, 111 and 502 will end at Sengkang
Service 81 and 82 will end at Shenton Way

I lived in Bedok North. Before the NEL rationalisation, I always walked to Bedok North Road, took svc 23 to Bendemeer Road, and changed to one of these buses to downtown: 81/82/85/97/103/106/111/133/147... After the NEL started operation in June 2003, all these services (except 133 and 147) were withdrawn/amended. I was very upset because I had concession pass for bus only and I was left with very little choice from Bendemeer Road to downtown. (E.g. Before the cut, I could take 65/85/106/111 to Orchard. After the cut, I could only take 65.)
Another service that I missed is Express 505 - Pasir Ris to Bukit Merah/Harbourfront (loop)
Express 505 travelled through Pasir Ris (Drive 1), Tampines (Avenue 7, 4, 5, 10), Bedok North Road, and then non-stop to Jalan Bukit Merah via PIE and CTE. It made a loop along Jalan Bukit Merah, Alexandra Road, Telok Blangah Road and Lower Delta Road, and travelled non-stop again to Bedok North Road. From Bedok North Road, I could reach Bukit Merah in 20 minutes. Unfortunately Express 505 was withdrawn. (If Express 505 remained, I might have taken it every day because I studied in NUS. Concession passes were not valid on Express bus, but I would still take 505 because it was really fast.)
I remembered taking 505 a few days before its withdrawal. The bus was packed all the way to the front door, and I wondered why SBST withdrew such a high-demanded service. Later SBST introduced Express 518, but 518 was not very useful for me if I travelled to NUS. By the time SBST introduced svc 5 from Pasir Ris to Bukit Merah, I was graduating from NUS, so I didn't get to enjoy the benefits of svc 5.
The LTA must be losing their minds. Service 97 is a popular route serving the Hougang areas with Service 111 and 502
Service 502: Boon Lay > Sengkang
If that route is remained, it would be easier for me to go to Sengkang from Orchard. Maybe Service 502 use PIE, Jalan Toa Payoh, Upper Serangoon Road.

maybe should feed back to the new minister. i think he is better than the last three or four.

- MRT breakdown. So? Very rare/occasional issue. Even if it does, you have free shuttle buses deployed. No one's asking you to take the public bus services. SMRT is clearly working on it with the sleeper replacements and orders for more trains, don't complain.
- MRT-bus rationalisation. Due to transport system relying mostly on the subway (i.e. MRT), for maximum deployment efficiency. History / debate on it here and here. Don't like it? Blame Ong Teng Cheong / LKY. Though there's nothing else you can do about it.
- Don't like squeezing? Too bad, SG has one of the densest populations in the world, 5+ million on ~700 sq km. All trains and popular bus services will be packed during peak hours. Don't like it? Go to work/study in a less crowded area, or migrate and leave SG.
- Still don't like it? Too bad. Transport systems adjust to the needs of the majority. If you are in the minority, you just have to adapt. Don't expect the transport system to adapt to YOU because you are oh so important, it doesn't work that way.
Agree with most of your points, but you're a bit too extreme here... Even with MRT in place, there are still more bus trips made than MRT trips every day (check out my reply in Loading Levels thread). And even with MRT offering faster connections, there are people who don't like squeezing on MRT or making tedious transfers (such as walking through the long transfer linkways at Serangoon or Outram Park). That's why there are Premium services, and trunk services running parallel to MRT yet still getting packed to the door (e.g. 147).

Khaw Boon Wan thinks Service 81, 82, 97, 106, 111 and 502 will be extended to their routes before the North East Line opened
Service 97: Jurong East > Hougang
If that route remained, it will ease the demand from Service 107 and 147

this guy deserve to be ban
Or 159 and change to 157. When Service 502 was extended, it should squeeze in Service 163's berth. Service 501 would most likely replace Service 502's route which is:
Soon Lee Bus Park > Shenton Way

Just ignore all the suggestions...
Which genius decided to amend 850E and replace its deleted sector with 663? the deleted sector of 850E which was taken over by 663 conveniently happens to be the sector which experiences the highest demand! last bus 663 last few stops have rejected passengers. yes, four trips of pathetic coaches is not enough. has LTA conducted proper and accurate assessment of the demand and the effects of the amendment? it seems to be a big fat fucking NO. don't fix what isn't broken. I think the PTOs are far more capable of handling high-demand express services like 850E than private operators, especially with double deck buses.
This is a failed experiment. I sincerely hope it will not be the same case with 951E's amendment and the introduction of 665.
Service 97, 106 and 111 should have been left behind to ease the high loading of Service 133 and 147
97 and 111 back to Hougang
62, 81 and 82 back to New Bridge Road
502 back to Sengkang
501, 511 and 512 back
(Note that Service 501 plys the current route of Service 502 and Service 502 uses Jurong Town Hall Road, PIE, Lorong 6 Toa Payoh, Jalan Toa Payoh, Upper Serangoon Road all the way to Sengkang Bus Interchange)
The old service 116 from Hougang to IMH should not have been withdrawn so that Mr Path Light can take 116 from IMH and transfer to his favourite 502 to Jurong West
Or I make Service 501 use Service 502's current route and Service 502 will be extended to Sengkang again. How is that, LTA, for shortening Service 502?!
Hello autistic fool, i dont care hw special u are in the eyes of the community coz u are slower than the a normal human being but as far as i know, autistic people are smart people but u are just plain stupid and lifeless to be living in the past and anti-rationalization.
Are u anti-LTA, if u are and have the balls, i dare u to take what u say to the LTA and i hope they give a fking talk to the hand reply to u. Even Asperger child and ADHD are more civilised than you
Service 62 would ease Service 147's high loading in the peak hours
The LTA is losing their minds. They must now introduce long trunk routes (But not as long as Service 14, 51, 61 and 858)

merge 82 and 107. A marriage made in heaven. For all we know the proposed route 117 might be due to such a plan.
The LTA should extend Service 62, 81 and 82 back to New Bridge Road, 97 and 111 back to Hougang (Extended bus interchange) and Service 502 back to the extended Sengkang bus interchange
