The new depot at Ulu Pandan will be ready in 2018. But it will replace Ayer Rajah Bus Park, as it will be needed for MyRepublic, M1 and SingTel. It will house several bus services along Clementi, Buona Vista, HarbourFront, Bukit Merah, Queenstown and New Bridge Road.

ehh.... are you sure about this?
I think for Queenstown, New Bridge Road, ... it may be better to have a new depot somewhere nearer... Ulu Pandan may be far from these areas.
hmmm is it near SMRT ulu pandan depot as well?

same area... Except the MRT depot is at the North. This bus depot is at the South.
well, to think about it, Bulim GCM will take over several bus services from Soon Lee, Bukit Batok and Kranji. Now with this Ulu Pandan GCM, I think Bukit Batok bus depot may be replaced totally.
Then Soon Lee go where?Convert into shopping mall?

It has been confirmed by LTA...the exact location is along Boon Lay Way and Business Park Drive, near Sungei Pandan and Sungei Ulu Pandan...it can house 500 buses and it is meant for government contracting model...
Location wise its between Jurong East Int and Clementi but again you know LTA anyhow geographic style deployment.Hope the 4 Clementi GCM svc will fall under this depot...No meaning to contract out just 3 feeder and a short trunk from Clementi
I have a feeling that the way the bus routes are being packaged in GCM is to ensure that in every bus interchange and bus terminal, there are at least two bus packages operating from it.
If this Ulu Pandan bus depot operates the remaining bus services at Clementi, Bukit Batok and Jurong East - like what I mentioned previously in the GCM thread - this would make up seventeen services. There will be space for another six existing services - if this depot can host twenty six services and there has to be provision for three new services in near future.
I think besides Clementi and Jurong East, Boon Lay is likely. Boon Lay has five feeder services (240, 241, 242, 243G, 243W). If include 181, it's six bus services. If not, 240 is actually the equivalent of around two feeder bus routes, so it's still as good as six bus services.
Just my two cents worth.
I dont think Boon Lay will be affected,Buona Vista and Kent Ridge is likely candidate

From Ulu Pandan Bus Depot,

- Kent Ridge Bus Terminal is around 5.5km away (via AYE).
- Buona Vista Bus Terminal is around 8.84km away (via AYE).
- Boon Lay Bus Interchange is around 7.22km away (via Boon Lay Way).
Well, Kent Ridge Bus Terminal has seven bus services. Yes, I think it is possible that Ulu Pandan Bus Depot will manage Kent Ridge Bus Terminal. Around five to six bus services, then the other one or two will be under another parcel.
Happy traveling from Ulu Pandan to Tampines every day for sv 10 BCs.

ya lor. 61 and 67 got the worst dead mileage. Off service from Eunos and Tampines respectively to AMDEP.
By the way, is there space for a bus park next to the DTL Marina depot? 120, 121, 122, 186, 195, 400 & 402 can be controlled from there.

Eunos to AMDEP not that far actually. Tampines, Bedok nearest is AMDEP.
A lot of KJDEP and WLDEP have a lot of dead mileage
WLDEP: 966,969,963,961,960,858,965,187,178,857,700,852,167,176
KJDEP: 188,970,190,176
Most of these svc served South part of Singapore and the CBD area
This depot might be for some Clementi,Jurong East,Kent Ridge and Buona Vista/Ghim Moh service
Is it possible that UPDEP will take the balance Jurong East/Clementi,Buona Vista,Kent Ridge and Ghim Moh svc?51,52,105,197,506(JE),7,14,99,147,156,165,166,175(CL),92,111(GM),10,33,151,200,201(KR),32,48,74,91,191(BV)?
25 service already?
what about 95?
as for 196 that can be grouped with Bedok area.
Oh ya i forgot about 95..
