A TOUCHING story!!!
One day a boy walked from school. He saw a monkey lying by the street side as though it was dead. To satisfy his curiosity, the boy came close and touched the monkey to see if it was dead or hurt. He touched the first time there was no response. He then touched the monkey again. He continued touching, touching and touching. Like I said earlier, this is a touching story.
Thank you for reading it....

I understand when I write such things, it may backfire, but I want to say, for the people in the bus industry to know.
You know Pang Soon Tan? I feel that he is a troll.
He is probably a real person since the newspapers ever interview him before.
But he may not be an NTU student as he claims he is.
I recently googled his name and saw that he has a LinkedIn profile. His LinkedIn profile is a joke. I have seen before LinkedIn profiles of NTU students. They are all well-written. Pang Soon Tan's LinkedIn profile is so brief and has zero connections. How you want me to believe that he is a NTU student?
I have a feeling that he may not be an NTU student, which means he may not be a regular commuter on bus services 179 and 179A.
Just take a look at his LinkedIn profile and you will know what I am saying:

No hate or whatever, but I feel that he does not have to fake his status to review bus services and recommend improvements.
Sorry.
The Batch 1 MAN A22s have no air-con balls, so I heard this: "There is a bus model called MAN, SMRT operates some of them, and some MAN buses have no air-con balls. A man with no balls?!"
Hi.
I would like to ask, why is everyone suddenly so against me?
What have I done wrong?
There are two perspectives to this - positive and negative.
Positive: You see that I am addicted to using the computer, and you want to help me quit the addiction.
Negative: I have written something that is wrong, and there is something about me that you do not like.
Whatever the reason, I want to know why most people here are ignoring me.
Thanks.

Multiples of 7.
72 is the odd one out though.

I think is that the sums of the digits add up to an odd number?
7 = 7
14 = 1 + 4 = 5
21 = 2 + 1 = 3
28 = 2 + 8 = 1 + 0 (10) = 1
72 = 7 + 2 = 9
147 = 1 + 4 + 7 = 1 + 2 (12) = 3
196 = 1 + 9 + 6 = 1 + 6 (16) = 7
What's your preferred seat on the bus, for me:
DDs in general: the front row of the upper deck, preferably the right side
VO3X: Any seat will do, I love the thick cushions on the buses, though I prefer the upper deck
VSO/Batch 4 Wright: Any seat on the upper deck or the priority seats with headrests
Trident: Any seat on the upper deck
CDGE B9TL: The side facing seats on the upper deck, otherwise, any seat on the upper deck or the green coloured priority seats
NWAB SD: Any non-rear facing seat
O405G: The last row of seats, it is like a rollercoaster ride to me
One Grey MAN in liannex. Not Greymon.
Unpainted A22.

'SBS591L'
This is really the worst that can happen on SgForums.
There was a series of spamming in early 2015 involving a user 'SBS7777Y'. The situation was so bad that cameo spotting threads had to be closed in the middle of the month!
Apparently, the LTA will hand over the Tuas MRT stations and depot to SMRT soon.
Considering testing and commissioning takes around three months, if the handover is done by July, we can expect the new stations to open in October this year. :)
Meanwhile, Malaysia's Klang Valley MRT SBK line first section already doing testing and commissioning, but they only say it will open by December this year.
I think ours will open first before they open theirs.
With regards to the proposed rapid transit system in Woodlands and Johor Bahru Sentral (JB Sentral), I feel that only Singapore is interested in this project. After all, Singapore is a city, whereas Johor Bahru is a suburb. Malaysia does not have plans to build Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) in Johor Bahru yet, so why would they want to construct this Rapid Transit System (RTS) now? Furthermore, they already have their Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) trains running across the crossway. I think it is better to talk about the KTM first; later than talk about MRT. If the ez-link card can use on KTM train between Woodlands and JB Sentral, actually that can be a good alternative. Of course, if they can enhance the KTM service, expand the causeway, or build this RTS, that would be great. Well, I am just expressing my feelings here, because the RTS talk very long already yet until now still no news about it.
With regards to the proposed High-Speed Rail, I feel that Singapore may need it to support the Jurong Lake District developments, like the future lakeside village and the possible tourist attractions along the Jurong Lake. Currently, there's a limited number of people patronising the existing science centre, and the new Genting hotel is probably collecting dust most of the time. The two MRT stations Jurong East and Chinese Garden are quite a distance from that area, and even the future MRT Jurong Region Line does not ply that stretch of Jurong Town Hall Road. So, there's limited traffic volume and public transport connectivity from this part of Jurong Lake District. The future lakeside village is going to be mainly commercial activities. Needless to say, the possible tourist attractions by the lake needs profits to sustain. Thankfully, the proposed High-Speed Rail from Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia will come to Jurong East. It would bring a crowd to this part of Jurong Lake District, support the business here and contribute to our economy.
.
With regards to the MRT Jurong Region Line, there is information that it will have approximately thirty stations. It would mean that every station will be around 666.67 metres apart. With such high accessibility, it would encourage more people in the Western part of Singapore to use public transport.
