Hi mr pathlight, are you serious? From jurong west to Hougang? You will go take Sbs 51??? Something is not right here. Mrt is the most realistic choice considering that the journey is very far by bus. Sbs 51 (with transfer) takes you more than 1 hr 45 min at the very least. I think easily 2 hrs and more. Come on, you must give proper suggestions lest people think this forum becoming a farce. Cheers. Thanks.

Or 198 and transfer to 132

Hi mr pathlight, take east-west MRT to outram Park then take north east line to Hougang. Journey time will be around 1 hr. This will be more realistic in current Travelling standards. And please do not keep suggesting to extend current bus routes to unrealistically super long routes. Cheers. Thanks.

98 to Jurong East, then 66 to Bedok, then 17 to Pasir Ris.
Or: 98 to Jurong East, then 51 to Hougang, then 89 to TPE, then 88 to Pasir Ris.
Or: 49 to Taman Jurong, then 154 to Bukit Timah, then 156 to Sengkang, then 83 to Punggol, then 34 to Tampines Ave 7, then 21 to Pasir Ris.
Thousands of ways for his joyrides.
