Glass window of Bus 262 suddenly shatters along AMK Ave 3

  A glass window of Bus 262 shattered along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3, near Block 246, yesterday evening (Jan 14) at around 6pm.

  Stomper D noticed the incident and contributed photos to Stomp. He said:

  "Shattered glass on SBS bus number 262 along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3, in front of Block 246.

  "Not sure how it happened. It took place at around 6pm."

  could be due to spontaneous breakage of glass. Tempered glass are prone to such incidents. they can just shatter without notice.

  SBS8588U have a similar incident before on 73.

  these are isolated incidents. at least tempered glass when shattered becomes small bits of glass and wont really injure people; unlike normal glass when broken got sharp edges.
