Woah, 315 & 317 get fleet adds again. Did some Serangoon residents complained recently or the situation is really that bad..?
sure?

If I may explain.. there is a serious issue.. coupled with stupid planning.
This is typically what happens for 315... it gets around 45-50 pax from Interchange (those shopping at NEX or wanting to ensure seat take it from interchange). Now there are many who transfer to 315 at stop outside NEX... Bare in mind that if 22/53 have not called before, lot of Boundary road residents also take 315...
So those from Serangoon North 1 are at a big disadvantage because they might not get to board. If you see 315 beyond Boundary road, people can easily board.
Stupid planning because LTA could have just introduced 315A that terminates at last stop of Serangoon North Ave 1 and comes off service back to interchange and starts next trip. 3 DDs on 315A could be deployed for this. Similarly 315 downroute could be operated from North Ave 1 in AM.
I feel bad for residents of North Ave 1 who have only one long winding service to interchange. In AM still okay because they get to board easily. In PM, it is hit or miss. Hence, like stupid buses have been added constantly to 315 instead of having some DDs that would clear the load instead or introducing 315A.
As another alternative, 116 should have been routed via Serangoon North Ave 1 as there are many services doing Toho Green sector of YCK road. 116 would have been hugely popular plus the unused capacity on 116 would have been well utilized.

To begin, I shall say everything happen for a reason. As a regular commuter for 315, I would say that your observation is there but 60% only. Boundary Rd pax are not the one adding to the demand. These group of ppl are secondary, cause most pax actually alighted at Serangoon Garden which I would say about 40% of the loading.
Te loading have been increasing since it re-routed to the New Serangoon Int. The loading sector is not purely Serangoon - North Ave 1, but along multiple point of the route, including North Ave 4/5 back to Serangoon.
hence 315A wouldn't solve the problem. Furthermore, DD deployment would not be full utilized even though how I wish it is deployed with DD. To add on, 315 DD is not cleared for DD due to several reason and that's why DD have not been deployed.
In the case of 116, the loading itself is already beyond it's current capacity provision. And the current route is to provide better access from Blk 516 Ang Mo Kio Ave 3 to Serangoon (The lost connection upon amendment of 315 to North Ave 5) , so it would be best to remain untouched.

Depends on whether later in the same day do you still see the same bus (3511H) on Sv 857? If you see 3511H back on 969, then means the x-over svc for that 850E slot remains the same (Sv 969)

Sv 88 should be correct according to frequency..
Sv 85 should have 2 extra SDs still. Someone mentioned that the 4 DDs that went in, should be in exchange for 5 SDs.. Up till now, only confirmed ones running & out of Sv 85 are 2760C, 6608J & 6711T. So there should be at least 1 more SD out of Sv 85 but not detected yet.
Otherwise, this means Sv 85's capacity increased massively (and by that, I mean, 4 DDs vs 3 or 4 SDs)..
For Sv 85,
6053J - Gillette Fusion ProGlide Shaver (quite new ad)
6054G - CDGE 3D ball full wrap
6248P - Vaseline Spray Moisturisers (quite new ad)
6633K - Nuyou Magazine
6838L - Lipton Milk Tea Latte
6839J - Adless (well, according to what I saw someone posted anyway, former Team RED for SEA Games)
So most likely out of Sv 85 should be 6054G & 6839J..but I don't think i've seen people mention them in their cameo posts much recently though..
i think 969 have > 6 dd perm

reduce 5 trips each direction for weekdays for sv85, so should be 5 buses out with 4 DD in.. unless, they convert 1 AP to 1 S, then number of buses out should be 4...
looking at the ETT, seem like that it have 12 buses (provided that there is no jump bus)..
SBS3945E
(AMDEP SP AMDEP 72/72B)
doing consistently for the past 2 weeks. did not find any perm sticker but guess it is perm (6060/664 and one more citaro also no perm sticker)..
3944 should also be perm Sv72 as well but so far it does 72B once during the last 7 days of service..
SBS5052T SBS8778M
(AMDEP 72/72B AMDEP SP)
not spotted on 72B for past 2 weeks
one more KUB (should be 5075) should be out as well (8778 should have been out for some time already)..
13 buses for 72B.
6060/6648/6650/6651/6534/6576/6827/5066/8819
7428/3353/3945 + 1 random DD/SD (should be 3944 slot but usually bus was pull to do 72 instead while another SD will cover 72B instead).
6577 is also consistently on 72/72B without perm sticker..
lol... y take only 3352 to BN should also take 3353 along anyway still see 3353 On 72 just now and 3944H .
