hmm.. so now u change your stand? earlier u r saying that bodywork cannot be salvage.. you have not mention anything about SMRT's mind... further SMRT are retiring those CAC/OAC O405 that time.. why bother go and repair 734Z?

Okay, I go back to the correct topic. First thing first, Tata Hispano had already closed down; it is impossible to replace a similar front unless taken from another Habit; and it is only during TIBS times where we see removal of body parts from other deregistered/pending scrap buses (like MK1s) to be fitted on a different model. Do you seriously think SMRT will want to do the same?
Secondly, I suppose that TIB1114G's chassis may have also suffered damage from the strong impact; this may have explained why SBS8900B is deregistered.

so what make you think so sure that SMRT wont do that? as long as insurance pay, they will just do... replacement parts can be find/make...
so now u r saying the chassis is also damage? 8900 definitely have chassis problem.. but for 1114, dun think so..

As I feel for the previous cases, it is best to wait and see what the results are.
TIB712L (on 975) was involved in a side-swipe accident involving a taxi (SHD4531S) while exiting the bus stop opposite CCK MRT Stn. Happened just before 5pm. But when i passed by the area at 515pm, the taxi was gone, but 712L was still there, with scratches near the battery box area and engine cover was open....
Passenger alighted and boarded TIB723E which came after that...BC was with 2 other SMRT staff inside the bus after ensuring all pax boarded TIB723E...

It was said that bus hit the road sign pole at junction of CCK Ave 4 and CCK Way. Damage on bus was unknown but when i go see the pole, the "Choa Chu Kang Ave 4" green sign is gone, and the pole is slanted to one side.
This bus was not supposed to be on this duty. This duty was originally done by 1566M. But 1566M had some issues i think, so was deployed onto 307S101 so can send to depot while 1586E switched with 1566M to do 307AM02. So, by right the bus that would have met into accident would be 1566M instead (just saying, maybe different bus may not have accident already)
Replacement bus was SMB133K at first (spotted at 3.30pm), but eventually changed to SMB3080J (spotted at 5pm).
Bus back on 307 on its usual 307S101 slot today. But i see it from far so couldnt see the damage (if still there)

Just now i board 307 (SMB1575L) also almost accident. BC was speeding and it almost rear-ended a car when the traffic light turned red...lucky lane on the right was empty and he swerved to the right lane..if not sure hit car..and based on the speed, will be quite disastrous...
