SMB5032K broke down at Lot One stop. Engine cover was open and it was there from at least 1.40pm to 2pm. After that, BC slowly drove bus back to CCK INT at 205pm and maintenence truck came soon after..

Today's breakdowns:
8283Z brokedown at YMCA (YCK Bound), Driver replaced with 8776T
9811T seen heading out of Tamp Int with front door open and mechanic beside driver and RCV truck behind bus.
Unknown WEG B1 on tow along AYE back to SLBP.

SBS9465J broke down while on 199 today.. bus was travelling very slowly towards BS27101 (Westville) around 1005am. Once pulled into bus stop, BC alighted and walked to the back of the bus, before coming back and declare breakdown.
The bus behind (SBS7402D) arrived 7 mins later to pick up all affected passengers. SBS9465J later followed behind SBS7402D and eventually stopped after turning left into Nanyang Ave, and BC was seen taking off the front desto...

SMB203S just carried pax but currently unable to start engine at HBF Int @ 1638hr... BC tried at least 15 times but only heard the interlock release sound... Suspect no battery...
SMB203S BC contacted OCC via his hp to see if the next bus (DD) can leave early or not... Then, DD left early... Currently only one slot can use for 188...

PA8008G (240P perm bus) met into an accident with a taxi while doing NTU campus blue line..spotted around 1020am..bus was trying to turn right into SPMS carpark but hit the taxi head-on. Clearly was bus fault as bus was on the opposite direction lane of Nanyang Drive while taxi was behind stop line, waiting to come out of SPMS carpark.
Damage for bus was unknown as I was on 179 cannot see, but taxi front was damaged with bumper dislodged..So one bus down for 240P later..

Happen at T1 terminal,
6806D on 36 got side swiped on the right rear bumper by 858 1301K. 36 was stopping there for alighting, and 858 tried to squeese thru the turn but failed as it was too near. And it swiped the bumper with scratches.

that why LTA want old buses to scrap as soon as they reached the life span. given 15 years on the road every day using humm some thing will give way

TIB1233X (WL 184) knocked into a car just before the traffic light at the junction of Jln Anak Bt, Clementi Rd & Dunearn/Bt Timah Rd approx 1400 hours, suffering a minor crack on its bumper. Pax were redirected to the nearest b/s at aft King Albert Pk along Clementi Rd.

3rd Feb 2015, afternoon: Spotted a MAN NL323F on service 960 on the road shoulder with hazard lights on, along the PIE towards BKE. I suspect it had a punctured tire. Didn't manage to see the rego as I was driving. But definitely an old-livery MAN.

1) BNDEP Citaro brokedown at TPJC. SBS tow truck seen.
2) SMB 288Y on Training Bus Rear ended TIB888M at SMU. 888M right side indicators gone, bodywork got smashed on the road.
