Yesterday took 5888H on 190
bus nearly breakdown coz the gearbox jam (at N gear) when BC is trying to accelerate. in the end, it stops at BKE road shoulder for a while before resuming journey to CCK
happened at 1830hrs+. forgot exactly what time
(reminds me of SBS8899Y incident that I post at the other thread)

last night at around 9 pm, a convoy of around 7 SBST buses was spotted along Lornie Rd (towards farrer rd), including a DM3500 with training bus desto, 5 citaros (EDS showing off service or SBS TRANSIT) and 1 strider...Not sure where they are going...

Went to take bus 240P just now at Lakeside MRT station bus stop. First time take PPSS (I stay in another area of Jurong West, not Boon Lay).
The bus I took has around 40 seats. I did head count. There were around 35 people on board when the bus left Lakeside MRT station bus stop.
Most people alight at Boon Lay Place, similar to 243 where most people alight at Pioneer Mall/Gek Poh Shopping Centre.
Anyway, there were around thirty five people on board. If this was a standard SBS bus with prescribed capacity for 87, the bus would only have been around 40.2% occupied.
Meanwhile, I made two discoveries:
-PPSS can use concession pass.
-PPSS can allow maximum ten people to stand.

Did you board the coach or the citybus? PPSS do charge the same fare as the normal feeder service so all concessions are accepted. About how many standees the bus could accomodate will depend on the type of bus deployed (there are some coaches on PPSS that do not allow standees).

SBS2888T's front indicator light covers have been changed back to the original type.
SBS6716E's door interlock disabled, bus is able move off before the door closes fully.

If I'm not wrong, they painted the door handles over with black paint during refurbishment... Can see the black wearing off on the door handles and the original orange paint.

At first i applauded LTA adding buses to most bus service but lately its rubbish that they keep on adding more buses to feeders and some short/mid haul trunks until you see bunchings and traffic jams
