The reason why svc 119 is not popular is because of the too relaxed run time..BCs tend to crawl even though its only half way to St 21.

it seems that Svc 34 and 118 almost same journey time from punggol int to tamp ave 10 (1st stop) if Svc 118 passed by green traffic lights.

It is useless for Svc 119 to extend to Punggol (somemore use BSEP). LTA and the useless BSEP for BSEP Svc 119.
There is already 1 missing DD on 119. Just leave it as it is. No replacement.
They made it better for the students with the new 43 timetable next week... but it remains to be seen if the current SBS3461J slot (now pushed forward by 4 mins) will be downgraded to SD.

I think it should be a revamp for the June holidays. SBST will use Polytechnic/ITE Higher Nitec holidays for instance, to move some services to Bulim Depot.

Why does 196 have far more buses than 14, even though 14's route is longer?
Service 43 on weekends schedule is weird. I suspect that for all A/P duties, the BC can choose whether to drive SD or DD!
But for 43M it is different. The 3 DD duties must always be DD, while the 3 SD duties can be cameo upgraded if the BC wants to drive DD. I have ever seen full DD fleet on 43M on Saturdays!
During Chinese New Year, all 9 perm DDs + 1 cameo DD were operating on 43. 43M had all 3 perm DDs + SBS6500K.
During Chinese New Year, all 9 perm DDs (SBS3003Z SBS3004X SBS3050L SBS3105M SBS3141H SBS3765H SBS3795X SBS9532Z SBS9595S) were operating on 43. No SDs were spotted. 43M had all 3 perm DDs + SBS6500K.

I guess SBS Transit will re-deploy all its SG-prefixed buses to bus routes that are in Bulim GCM and Loyang GCM, hence the major change in timetables.
However, not all affected bus routes are in GCM or have SG-prefixed buses. So, I guess another reason is that they are changing the capacity of bus routes.
so Svc 118 has any crossover from wat bus services during Weekdays AM and PM Peak?

Svc 196 far more buses (especially on weekdays) is cos of the siao sot demand between Marine Parade and Cbd during AM n PM Peak Hrs (only serve by Svc 196)? Not sure between Clementi and CBD though.
Then on weekends it become Svc 14 more buses than Svc 196 cos for Svc 196 the demand between Marine Parade n CBD is siao sot demand the opposite of Weekdays? Then for Svc 14 is it cos of Orchard demand?

Today, sv 8 is full of SDs, but I cant believe its frequency.
Just now, I missed a Scania and waited about 10 mins for SBS8337C. Later, I found out that the next bus comes in 27 mins. Talk about the crowd along Macpherson Rd too
