I want to see it as well, can someone post it up by any chance?

Just now I was trying to find the BSEP map for 2014 Q3 (which indicates the 5 new services), but unfortunately it was deleted from the LTA website. Then I accidently found this map for 2013 Q1: http://www.publictransport.sg/content/dam/publictransport/pdf/Bus%20Service%20Enhancement%20Programme/LTA%20Map%2027Mar13(3)(FINAL).pdf
In this map, sv 76 is listed under Kallang/Geylang. However, sv 76 only plies Paya Lebar Rd and Tg Katong Rd, which is nowhere close to Kallang at all. If in this case sv 76 can still be counted as a Kallang/Geylang area service, Haig Rd should be possible as well. Therefore, I think the new Kallang service MAY be for Haig Rd.
Katong is 'under' Geylang, like how Loyang is 'under' Changi. The service is listed under the combined area of both Geylang and Kallang, but it may not ply Geylang. Same for the Changi/Loyang listing.

Lets see.. we should have some announcement by end of coming week.
Insider info?
Got unconfirmed info there might be a new feeder svc from tampines int to tampines concourse (loop) via tampines ave 9? Maybe it'll be a bidirectional svc just like 225g/w?

Hi mr SBS5010P, where do you get the info? The route to tampines concourse is very short. Maybe to serve some flats and condos there. But I thought the 5 new bus services do not cover tampines estate. Cheers!

Yes it's short, and it'll be as short as 284. But its from an unconfirmed source. Not in this wave, i think . LTA's trend is to introduce super short routes now.
Seems very quiet these days. Hope LTA drops news on new bus routes release today! Cheers!

It's more likely they will re-route 27 and 168 to service Tampines Concourse.

Maybe? But extra travelling time of +/- 5mins. But these 2 svcs gotta skip tampines reg library side?

As in, Tampines Ave 9 -> Tampines Concourse -> Tampines Ctrl 7 -> Tampines Ave 7
The Southern stretch of Tampines Concourse is not yet developed and by then it will not need bus svc as it is just 5 min walk from DTL Tampines Stn.
Hence I again emphasize the skipping of Jln Kayu for 168. Adding TPE stop and now perhaps the re-routing into Tampines Concourse the travelling time is sure to increase by on average a quarter.

But 168 is a very important svc at jln kayu. It's 1 stop to woodlands int

depends, many of the ppl boarding are transfer pax, most of them from 39, 858. Not really affected coz got TPE stop alr.
Otherwise introduce 168A? Using same concept as 518A, can skip Tampines or the two stops along the express.

Hi mr SBS5010P, it will not happen. Too short. At present, don't see any demand. In future, can walk to tampines downtown line. Cheers.

Hi mr SMB128B, it is unlikely sbs 168 will skip seletar west camp stop at jalan Kayu. Firstly, 1 bus from yishun and 1 bus from woodlands need go there. Sbs 39 and sbs 168 are chosen respectively. Smrt 858 is not counted because it needs serve woodlands, admiralty, sembawang and yishun which is a long connecting route. Since there is no direct alternative provided, sbs 168 will not be amended. Cheers.
Since my cab went pass there....
Tamp Ave 7(15,27,168,969)/9(27,168) might have new stops, since the flats there are started to be occupied. Nearest stops are currently Ave 6 (72). However, the buses serving these stops might skip it, as most of them already pass that point on full load during peak.
Same for Pasir Ris Dr 8 (15). Nearest stops is at Dr 1(3,39,53,81,89,109,403,518) and St 51 (359). While buses at that area can take in pax, it might disrupt traffic flow towards the highway.

Yes. Especially 969 u cant get on any of these buses..

I see. Using your logic it must be indisputable that 858 skip Jln Kayu. TPE stop and Yishun Ave 2 can suffice for 96% of the pax at Jln Kayu.
What do you say about 168A then?

It is very hard to set a stop at Tampines Ave 7 due to the curve and will pose danger to drivers, especially 15 and 969 which will have to cut lanes in the curve.

Hi mr SMB128B, yes for me better for 858 to skip jalan Kayu. But there will be some forumers saying that 858 provides some at jalan Kayu a direct link to airport.
Yes I like 168A. But it must skip all stops in tampines or else there will be not much differentiation between 168 and 168A. Cheers.

Number of ppl at Jln Kayu gg to CGA is close to 0. Makes absolutely no sense for this detour, especially since TPE stop opened.
Maybe 168A can turn left into Tamp Ave 1, then turn right into Tamp Ave 10 all the way to the TPE entrance? With no stops in between of course.

Not the curve, after the curve. There is an unused bus bay there already (well, 1 of the pair there, the other one got built over by the junction)
Why not let 161 call at jalan kayu and let 168 skip jln kayu? then sengkang west residents can have a bus svc to hougang. 1 stone kill 2 birds.

Hi mr SBS5010P, if going by the route suggestions you give, it only partially benefits sengkang west people. They still have to take a bus to the stop at seletar west camp jalan Kayu to hop on to sbs 161. Sbs 161 did not ply sengkang west way or sengkang west avenue to serve them. They can currently hop on to sbs 50 and transfer to smrt 854 along yio Chu Kang rd to go to hougang. This is much faster than other buses to transfer to sbs 161 for your new amended route. Cheers.

I disagree. I always take 858 from Jalan Kayu to the airport and there are always at least 10 people boarding 858 to the airport from there. There is a demand to the airport from Jalan Kayu.
