Hmmm... someone else posted it is CCK --> BPJ service... and he said LTA news...
If it is Yew Tee that will be great... Yew Tee needs a new service more than Keat Hong at the moment. As I previously mentioned Keat Hong new flats will come in operation only Q1/2016 and so will DTL... that route needs service to BPJ but in future, not now.

It looks like a trunk svc to supplement 307/302 like 860 type.

Hi mr TIB1112L, hip hip hooray. Finally a new bus service for Yew Tee residents. By the way, do you have any info for the new Punggol bus service in Q1 2015? I am very anxious to see the routing of the this Punggol service! Need to ask you since you may have info. Cheers.
Well, i guess there is a strong miscommunication going on here.
I did not mention LTA news, i posted "likely loop at bukit panjang (also posted in LTA BSEP thread)"
I mean that this same post i have also posted in the other thread in this forum. Plus i used the word "likely" to show that it was not confirmed and all of these i have heard from a couple of BCs and decided to collate them and place here. It was said that now CCK INT is getting BCs to sign up to drive 300G, 300W, 301 or 983, which is true as i have seen someone posted a picture about this (at that both service 301 and 983 will ONP at Bulim).
As for whether 983 will go Bukit Panjang or YewTee, what i heard was Bukit Panjang. But it may also be true that 983 will go YewTee as mentioned by user TIB1112L. But this at least confirms that there is confirm going to be a 983 coming out. As i stay in YewTee, i will of course be more than happy if 983 were to ply there, which i agree with BusAnalyser that this is more impt then adding to Keat Hong.
I am sorry to have caused any miscommunication here...now i also scared to post info of what i heard liao..but nvm i will still post...
Rumoured route 301: CCK INT >> CCK WAY >> CCK Ave 3 >> CCK Ave 1 >> CCK Ave 6 (Loop at the current place where 300 turn a roundabout -- runtime was given 20 mins).
But then i doubt it..i feel it will turn to CCK Ave 5 and right turn back to CCK Ave 3 instead...

i think so too. It should loop around ave 5 and come back. Would have preferred if it was CCK Way > CCK Ave 2 > CCK Ave 1 > CCK Ave 6 > CCK Ave 5 > CCK Ave 1 > CCK Ave 2 > CCK Way > CCK Int. Feel really bad for those living along ave 2 who have no service except long winding sv 300. Again if 300G/W really getting introduced, then no problem at all.
I would rather it stays at 300A & 300B instead of confusing ppl with SBST G/W...
300A/B might relieve some 300 crowds but again might be all A22s..301 & 983 is a welcome news..

Hi mr carbikebus
Service 300G/W will be a non BSEP replacement for 300. 300 will be withdrawn with the introduction of 300G/W and 301
So confusing,Might as well retain 300 then introduce 300A/B.300A/B full bendy,300 can just use 6 SDs and 6 bendy.

How will 300A/B be all A22s. What will happen to the bendy fleet on 300?
I am more concerned about 301 and 983... these 2 will be mostly all A22s... but lets first see the route.. if its like 990 then even midi buses are okay :P

That's great news... something I have really hoped for CCK residents to have 300A/B.

When the press release is out then we roughly know..
Or maybe 983 go to both Bukit Panjang and Yew Tee, after Bukit Panjang MRT opens, starts from Bukit Panjang loop at Yew Tee.

Hi mr ButIAmAToilet, news have already said the bus service is for choa Chu kang and it will start from CCK. Not start from bukit Panjang.
Relax. When bukit panjang interchange is restored when MRT is up in later part of the year, its transport will be reviewed and new bus service will come later. But certainly not Q1 2015. Cheers.
983 definately from CCK,its brother 985 is there also where BPJ is more to 97x series

all that numbering has gone for a toss... after 41 comes to Jurong East... most funny number...

Yes but 983 cannot be only CCK-Yew Tee... in that case number should have been 30x... just as other feeder/intra-towns... seems like 983 will go beyond either to Sembawang side... or Bukit Batok side..
I am more inclined to say it might loop at Bukit Batok or even loop at Bukit Panjang.
Proposed route can be
CCK Interchange>>CCK Dr>>CCK North 6>>CCK Way>>CCK Ave 4>>CCK Ave 1>>CCK Way>>CCK Road>>Upper Bukit Timah Rd>>Petir Rd>>Jelubu Rd>>Bukit Panjang Rd>>CCK Rd and back...
or similarly can go to Bukit Batok via Gambok if not to BPJ.
What if Service 983 goes around Yew Tee then to BPJ via KJE Gali Batu Exit? Something like the current BPS1 Service.
Discovered new pair of bus stops along the new YIshun Avenue 8 in between Yishun Avenue 1/8 junction and Yishun Dam.

Hi mr TIB987K, yishun Ave 8 and yishun ave 1 widening is to facilitate another route to connect sembawang and yishun and together with seletar west link, it helps to alleviate high traffic along popular Lentor ave and yishun ave 2. Cheers.

Isn't Yishun ave 8 still under construction?
It could be for new service from Punggol to Yishun via Seletar? This is something we have been wishing for quite sometime as it will reduce Punggol - Yishun commute time by half.
Is this stop on Yishun ave 8 or Yishun ave 1?
Haha IMO it would be a good idea to extend 103 to Yishun and make it 2 directional

Regarding Yishun Avenue 8
Quote from Land Transport Authority:Completion of new Yishun Avenue 8 linking Yishun Ave 1 and 6, and commissioning of 2 new signalised junctions of Yishun Ave 1/8 and Yishun Ave 6/8
Might be the new Yishun short trunk svc to Jln Kayu?
