Glad you noticed that too. The original one was using Vogelstize. There are many changes involved, so I suspect there might be another unit (perhaps for testing by MAN, or is it the rumoured secret MB 3 axle DD).

Anyway, the interior is very much the same as SBS7777Y with different positioning of the grabpoles... Same Masats Doors as A22...
But there is something to look into is the staircase, it'll come with a triangular "see-through zone" beside the stairs... A little similar to MAN A39's "see-through zone"... It'll be one-of-a-kind DD in SG...

Bukit Batok is the first to receive many of the new initatives by SMRT Buses, including:
- New generation of service guides
- New bus information panel and interactive board
- New side panel on buses, near the entrance door
- New livery OC and Citaro
As Bukit Batok is to become part of the first tender under the new competitive tendering model, it is clear SMRT is trying its best to retain this territory and perhaps even go on the offensive.
On this basis I would not be surprised if the MAN DD ends up on route 106.
I got strong feelings SMRT will just order the production units before the trial ends..Rear also much better equipped with upper tailights and signal too,I might think this bus is around 12.2m
