Only Euro VI has limits for noise emissions. And how can emissions control equipment be bad for top speed? That's all down to gear ratios (gearbox's top gear ratio as well as the final drive ratio) and an engine that can produce enough torque to keep you at the top speed, which is hardly ever a problem these days!
Ok,So bustech cdi using cummins isle5 8.9l 340hp/1500nm but why an Aussie bus forums stated that the bus using ZF6hp APB1200 only?

We have used Newton-metres exclusively for many decades now.

America is America. The rest of the world is metric!

No big deal. As far as I can tell, there aren't any differences between the different ZF EcoLife torque ratings that the casual enthusiast can observe anyway.
Guess it's really failed?

The key is patience.
Who knows they might be doing internal evaluation currently and only plan to put the bus on service just some time before their trial period finishes, since it is a bus loaned to them after all.
It is said that the bus had been fitted with a license plate already: SBS8002T
So the bus has been registered alr? has it been spotted anywhere?
Its not registered yet.
Registered yesterday as SBS8002T, Volvo B5RH Diesel-Hybrid Volgren...

Trial for just 6-7 months only...but I guess that's just enough as well.
no point trying for half year will not see the problem a rise. But i think LTA should have this type of bus for public service sooner than later.
On paper it look so underpowered for a 12m bus
For those who can't wait to have a taste of SBS8002T, here is how its sister units are performing in Australia:

Singapore buses FB
Latest updates on the bus: Wheelchair-ramp has been removed, hence a gap can be seen below the rear door. A grabpole is also installed in place at the middle like on the front door. It is also wrapped in a full advert wrap (inclusive of the front) with an advert design similar to the Sunlong hybrids.
Also the bus is 11.4m long, not 12m.
