svc 119 seem like having some DDs downgrade to SD recently
3393Y this few days doing on 161 and today also doing on this svc !
sv 166 got fleet add with SD
This year has been interesting for sv 166.
Jan 2014: Fleet size (25 buses), DDs (21), SDs (04)
Mar 2014: Fleet size (25 buses), DDs (19), SDs (06)
May 2014: Fleet size (25 buses), DDs (18), SDs (07)
July 2014: Fleet size (26 buses), DDs (18), SDs (08)
* Some services like sv 10, 166 have progressively got more DD --> SD conversion and then a SD fleet add to compensate
* The erratic loading pattern on 166 seems to be the reason for severe downgrade of DD fleet
sv 182 got SD --> DD conversion. Welcome to the full fleet DD club!!

Morning to city, 8621 peak within peak but followed closely by 7660 so no issue
Followed 30mins later 6429, DD, 6050,twenty mins later 6351,3040 together...
Oth than tt, the SDs head twds Tampines during morning peak...

Make it 5 DD. And SMRT should not make DD back to back unless the svc is really like 190...

If it is back to back should be at a frequency of 12-14 mins to avoid bunching. Sometimes prime peak you require back-to-back DDs but not at the same frequency as SDs.
168 seems to have weekend DD downgrades like 161 recently. 4 slots will be replaced by SDs.
11 BSEP Citaro and DDs registered...
wondering which all services will get capacity upgrade this time around. Also think these buses should be for the two new services in HG and PGL.

SBST downgraded many DD slots on sv 166, so not sure if it will do on 165. But I agree, loading has dropped and maybe these DDs be given to convert SD slots on sv 30/147.

It is addition from SBST side.. So can b anything. If it was BSEP, then only Citaro.
