Spoke with SMB3503G (972AM07) BC on 972, found out from him that the 3 DDs are fleet adds, so 972 should have 16 buses now...
From sgwiki, seems like Sv 243 got capacity increase with BSEP WEG. Are buses on. 243G and 243W interchangeable, because am load on 243W is high, and PM on 243G?
Service 116 has BSEP fleet ad.
Service 168 has a SBST fleet add. (to be confirmed)
Why are Service 74's SDs still there? It is 1/4 fleet SD, which is a bit too much for its demand. Some of the DM3500s are downgrades from de-registered buses e.g. 2820M for 9543S.
I hope the missing bus will be replaced by a Wright.
I guess 995E will be converted to DD soon, and HGDEP will have full DD for 74 with the last Citaro being converted with 3752U, 3758D, 3786Y etc after the ad contract expires.

Yes sv 74 has been neglected for long. It does not need BSEP. It needs SD --> DD conversion for at least 3 SD buses.

sv 34 gets 4th BSEP addition within months. This clearly shows when services cannot use DDs, there is no option but to keep adding buses. sv 34 Punggol bound loading is manageable, the main issue is within Tampines town, where it acts like intratown and with new HDB complexes around ave 5/8, the loading on 34 has become huge.

I certainly hope that 9591C will be replaced by another VO3X/Wright and not DM3500 or any single-decker bus.
Is 3398J really on 243G? I haven't seen anyone reporting this.

Hi mr BusAnalyser, the real problem is that the frequency of 13 to 20 mins is catered for the loading of yr 2010. This sort of lousy frequency is given to services starting from Punggol. With loading of yr 2014, it has been dramatically improved to 9 to 15 min which is only a normal frequency for trunk service. Not only is demand for intratown services in tampines, the demand for direct link from Punggol to tampines is dramatically increased. Ths explains why sbs 34 is so great in demand. There is no faster way than the current 15 min sbs 34 ride from Punggol to the heart of tampines town. Cheers.

But they only improved dramatically during Peak hours uh. But not during the usual knock-off hours of the Airport workers..which is like usually after the usual Peak Hours of the main Singapore crowd.

Really, see no difference during the peak hours with the crowd

Yes I am not sure that it is fleet add... Seems to be Sd to dd conversion given the frequency is still around 12 mins.

3310 is already out of 119. 3393 is just replacing 3310. I saw a CDGE on 119 ytd. I think the DDs are still perm on 119. Just running around

Maybe there is a need for more E shifts.
Lol... what the point for making 3393 perm and at the same time 3310 out of 119 ?

It was very unlikely that 119 would get 3 perm DDs. Think they want to give 3310 rest, just like they did for 3309 by taking it out from sv 98 and now keeping it SP for over a year.
sv 7 seems to have got capacity upgrade.
Now you have 20 DDs, 5 SDs from 19 DDs, 6 SDs in May.
sv 10 has got a high number of SDs now. Earlier you had only 5 SDs in 2012, now the number has gone up to 9. 2 DDs slots converted to SD and 2 BSEP Citaro adds.
* I believe the high number of SDs is due to the off-peak direction that does not get much load, while the CBD bound AM load and East coast bound PM load can be manic.
Capacity reduced on sv 52
1 BSEP Citaro that was added few months back has been taken out.
966 cannot take out! But it could do with more supplementary trips by 901.
