Fleet add on sv 185
For sv 185, SBST is the one who is constantly adding buses, upgrading SD slots to DD.
Same time last year, fleet was 13 buses = 6 DDs, 7 SDs. Now it is 15 buses = 10 DDs, 5 SDs.

sv 15 gets a BSEP add with 19 buses in its fleet now (reference: 16 same time last year).. the others have been SBST add.

Got a well deserved BSEP add. Especially used to pity residents along Punggol road HDBs who only had sv 84 coming every 20-25 minutes. Now hopefully will have a bus every 12-15 minutes.
With this change sv 115 is the only service with one bus.

Hi mr SBS3004X, is it true? Since when is this implemented? I frequent the seaside often and waited quite long for sbs 84. Last time when sbs 82 goes there, it is quite fast. Anyway back to present, with 1 more bus, then we will see whether the frequency is improved. Cheers.
I think 86 had 1 SD removed. It had 14 buses in the past, now with ref to SGwiki, there are only 13 buses.
I dont think 115 would get a fleet add. Afterall, SBST has neglected this svc and had tried to withdraw this svc but it was kept with political reasons. If 113 had called at the bus stop first, 115 would be totally empty except for some elderly folks who find it far to walk from hougang ave 1 bus stop to their homes in hg ave 3. [It's a 10-15min walk]

Hi mr BusAnalyser, there is no need to pity the residents along Punggol road. They have 2 pairs of bus stops with many services at Punggol drive and Punggol central within walking distance. Cheers.

sv 86 has never had 14 buses... it has been 13 buses from a long time since BSEP Citaro add... until then the fleet had only 12 buses.

You are wrong. The fate of 115 will be like sv 11. It will be sooner or later extended under BSEP with more buses added to it.

Says the man who advocates door-step service. Please stop posting with double standards.

if 115 is extended to HGDEP, it will only ply one way on Hougang Ave 1? And if it goes thru Hougang St 22 how does it go to Defu lane?

Hi mr busAnalayser, no double standards here. They are in the cross-roads of the major roads. So they have all services. Even for Punggol road blocks, Punggol central bus stops can be considered doorstep depending on which blocks. Cheers.

115 does not need to go to HG Ave 1. 113 can cover the route.
115 should go via Tampines Rd to Defu Ave and loop back via HG Ave 3.
I was wondering if there is anyway for 113 to serve the unserved parts of Hougang Ave 1? It's quite a long walk from Opp Blk 115 bus stop .

45 can be diverted via the part of HG Ave 1 where there is no service and connect back to Lor Ah Soo.. 45A can get additional bus in AM, and can have 45B in PM.
Alternately 113 can start at Serangoon Interchange and go via HG Ave 1 blk 115 area. You need to connect this area to Serangoon more than Kovan.
It seems that 161 today is back using the old single deck buses today on the 3 non WAB slots, dun understand the rationale why. Still prefer to have the full WEG DDs instead.

It is an S shift bus. I think you are there during off peak hours, so you didn't see the bus.
