136 does get B9TLs cameo quite often + have daily crossover DDs from sv 22. What SBST needs to do is introduce 136A during AM peak from Punggol to Kovan MRT using sv 22 crossover DDs and each makes 2 trips before doing a full route back to AMK. Loading on 136 is quite good at Upper Serangoon till Kovan that warrants the DDs.

Good to see sv 39 get DDs... but didn't expect would get 6 at once... that too during school holidays.

I didn't see 6 of them though. I spotted only 4 of them during AM Peak today. And all the other buses are kind of accounted for.
So i think there's only 4 perm Wrights for Sv 39 now. Not 6.

SBS3913Y, SBS3914U, SBS3916P and SBS3919G perm on 39. Got another DD on 39, SBS3289R on 39. Not sure if there are more DDs spotted on 39

Idk what you saw, but the numbers tallied with the no. of Wrights for Sv 39 from the Wiki edits. Just that, instead of 3919G, I spotted 3920B for 03 Jun (Wed).
I spotted the other 3 (3913Y 3914U 3916P) still on Sv 39 though on 03 Jun (Wed).
I haven't seen 3919G yet, unless that's an S-shift. -

Can assure you that out of the 4 perm DDs on Sv 39, I can safely say there's at least 2 of them on full-day shifts. ie, off-peak there's still Wrights on Sv 39.
3920B is the 5th last bus from Yishun. 2308hrs PSR Town Park bus stop towards Tampines.
And if I didn't remember wrongly, I think 3913Y 3916P are both on A/P shifts for 03 Jun as well because I saw them at like mid-day.Idk who spotted 3919G at what time, or if 3920B replaced 3919G, but i definitely didn't see 3919G on 03 Jun (Wed). So it would be good if someone could verify if either 3920B or 3919G are still on Sv 39 or not in the coming days, thanks.

From Dr Lam Pin Min's FB Page (5-6 hours ago): Some residents have feedback to me about bus service 85 being too crowded, especially during peak hours. Residents will be happy to know that from 22nd June 2015, more double decker buses will be introduced to bus service 85. Enjoy your ride while we work on more improvements.

If this is true, then SBST is really already outdoing SMRT smack right in SMRT original territory :)

While only 4 out of 11 Decker/Bendy SMRT trunk services in Yishun.
SBST really showing SMRT how it's supposed to be done.

But I have doubts about the FB post regarding DD on 85 though - there are a few FB pages to Dr Lam's name though. I dont know which one is the "authentic" one. The 85 posting is on the page listed second in the search results. Is it an official page by Dr Lam himself?

Congratulations. Finally 1 more Punggol service to have DDs. But why not sbs 3 whose demand is higher than sbs 85??? The only reason must be sbs 85 serves sengkang west and there are just few bus services for poor sengkang west. Cheers

Confirm it is the correct facebook account. Most likely the crowd are at fernvale area to sengkang. Maybe just 2-3 DD. Election coming lah n most likely this guy will be gone from this estate

Rather SBS deploy more DDs on 145.. introduce weekday DDs on 66 and launch route parallel to 27 for Sengkang-Tampines with DDs.

that if the service 159 can skip lorong chuan as the road link to lorong chuan under the CTE bridge is too low for DD bus. or else 105 already early have DD bus service.

Yes... sbs 3 deserves DDs more than 85 for sure... i think politician did not find votes here :-P

where is full day DD for 145? talk about politician look at HG and seng kang area full of DDs service but how many of them actually full most of the time???
