  Besides. Even if they do pull a stunt and deploy a DD today, doesn't mean that you'll see DDs on Monday. It's kinda not the norm for SBST to change their schedules on a Friday, and knowing that this coming Mon is school hols already, hmm.

  Hmm, if that's the case, I suggest you observe from next week onwards. Maybe there's indeed a change.

  But if the photo is of a parked bus at an Int, it's highly possible that the BC keyed in another svc's details (eg in this case Sv 39) that's different from the svc the bus is supposedly on (eg Sv 69) for either off-service reasons or other reasons which idk

  Most probably split shift deckers or SBST got excess of DDs to played around.

  I heard this too from a friend... but i told him lets wait and see... but he is kinda confident... if it happens.. good for sv 39 commuters.

  But to be honest.. i am a little surprised... DDs will start on a day that is public holiday... so demand is going to be less.

  Its a huge relieve that 812 just got 2 additional buses though its just the A22s..At least the freq is improved..Just only need 2 crossover buses during peak hours

  It's akin to a Sunday, when many current route upgrades (and new bus routes) are introduced.

  False information. Service 39 will be double deckers from TOMORROW onwards 2 June due to PUBLIC HOLIDAY today. Just now when I board Scania 39, I asked the BC about when 39 will be getting DDs. He say from tomorrow onwards. Then when i ask i thought is today 39 got DDs, then he say that it is due to public holiday so he confirm to me by saying that 39 will be getting DDs from tomorrow onwards. Btw, such a friendly BC! :)

  Exactly what I thought... Wouldnt be smart to just deploy DDs on public holiday... by the way did you ask him how many DDs?

  66 is only for ph/weekends anyway... it is for Little India that has high demand on ph/weekends... though would have been good to see few on weekdays as well... but guess because of high duplication with other services.. not a priority... even 64 on Sundays sometimes I see get more DDs than its share.

  I would like to see more DDs on 145 on priority.

  Asking from a random BC is like asking for inaccurate information..What if the BC lie to him say half of the fleets gets DDs?

  Wait a minute. SBS3916P from Bedok North Depot. And 39 is controlled under Changi Bus Park. So now 39 partially controlled BNDEP/CGBP?

  I only spotted one DD as I didnt linger long around the area - simply made a one-off detour to the interchange area as I drove to work.

  No idea about any depot transfer for 39 though.

  Wakao,Didnt Cgbp buses refuel and bis wash at Bndep before parking at Cgbp?Funny leh you..Its unlike Arbp or Brbp where they have their own refuel and bus wash..Its a sub bus park for Bndep just like Wlbp and Wldep la dey

  Like what 'carbikebus' said, BNDEP & CGBP are interchangeable. Sv 39 is still under CGBP. 

  And there's 2 DDs at least now on Sv 39. Bear in mind that Sv 39 is running the Sch Hols schedule this month until June sch hols are over. So maybe they'll convert more after the June sch hols are over.

  Sv 39 permers that are either adless or have expiring / soon-to-expire ads:
  
  Soon-to-expire ads - 8216T (Tsura oil rear ad), 8227L (HPB Cervical Cancer), 8348X (Nivea Mud-Serum Foam) 
  Adless - 8301E 8341P
  
  All the other KUBs / Citaros on Sv 39 have new ads or ads which i don't think will run out of the ad contract so fast. So KIV which is out. Might even be fleet reduction because the new e-timetable involves a cut in number of trips all-day round.

  Interestingly they didn't kope from the existing SP Wrights based in CGBP for Sv 39's upgrade though. Apparently 3914U 3916P 3920B are on 39 for A/P shift so far
