Welcome surprise from SMRT side.
4 DDs added to sv 67 - 5037, 5038, 5039, 5040. Now sv 67 has total 6 DDs in its fleet. Some people in Tampines should be very happy =)
Suspect SMRT side has also added DDs to sv 960 on perm basis.

Yah, today there are 7 DDs on 960

replace the 2 kubs
My comments:
Excellent decision given sv 2 buses are full almost throughout the day, even off-peak, this is one service that has high loading.
I recommend sv 14E to get 1 DD, 30E to get 1 DD and 196E to get 3 DDs. The loading on all these three has gone very high and you can see people standing till the door, especially for slots where it reaches Suntec/CBD at around 8.20-8.40am

For a start im more than happy...969 also need another 5 DDs..Perhaps 3 Amdep bendy slots can transfer to Wldep.
67 got 7 double deckers run friday. 969 got 5.
Something I have wished for a long time. svc 334 gets full fleet DD. Lone single decker slot converted to DD.

Update on previous post. Even 5041, 5042 posted to sv 67.
This means now has 8 DDs in total, 6 from SMRT side.
Surprisingly BSEP did not transfer 2 AMDEP BSEP slots to KJDEP to upgrade to DD.

I dont really mind the lone KUB stay but SBST can add one more B9TL into svc 334 also to make it 10 buses in total bro..How i wish SBST would consider the ADL Environ500 or Scania K320UD and Volvo B8RLE to replace the Volvo B10TL/Dennis Trident and Volvo B10Ms respectively...

To your point, I actually expected BSEP WEG add for 334. PM load at JE Interchange still has every bus get 100+ pax... same goes with AM load... surprising 334 not got BSEP yet... but they have left it totally to SBST do all the upgrades... which I am NOT complaining as SBST has done a great job.
Same with 181, 185 and 199. All the upgrades have been from SBST side and none from BSEP. Maybe they have separated services between them to upgrade.
AMDEP feeders
I don't know if it is only me but I find the way AMDEP has managed AMK feeders is quite lousy. Compared to them BNDEP, CGBP, SLBP does quite a good job with its feeders.
Look at 334 - now has 9 DDs no BSEP
240 has 7 DDs no BSEP
241 has 9 DDs only 1 BSEP
243 has so many DDs + BSEP
291 has 11 DDs with 2 BSEP
293 has graduated to have 5-6 DDs
225 has around 4 DDs in its fleet
Now look at AMK
261 no DD, 3 BSEP add for such a short route - 8 buses
269 no DD, 4 BSEP add - 10 buses
265/268 just add BSEP as well as PPSS
* None of the above have got DDs, though they deserve it to clear the crowds. Its been very lousy deployment on AMDEP side.
Cons of doing this:
* Way too many buses clogging interchange during peak hours
* Return journey of most of these buses is empty, wasting resource
* The job can be done by DD on S-shift, but adding so many SDs is increase in number of BCs, fuel and maintenance costs
* Heavy bunching on all these services and delays as first bus super crowded slowing down first bus, next buses come and bunch
I think AMDEP seriously needs to consider deploying DDs on its feeders and reduce 2 buses for 261 and 269 each.

In terms of freq Amdep feeders is great only bunching does occured..They can add DDs to the townlinks which is more practical to be honest.Maybe AMDEP/BRBP exclusively deploy their DDs for trunk routes only
Are there festive period timetables for services that past by areas like CCK cemetry, Sin Ming and Mandai? If there are, they should deploy DDs during these periods on services like 162M and 410G. It can clear those worshipper crowds, and normally, private cars are (kind of) banned since it will clogged up the roads there, so most worshippers rely on buses to get anywhere.

On weekdays (non-holiday schedule), you will see maximum DDs plying on 410W on evening peak. 410G is full fleet SD.
Good news, saw DD on 145 for the first time, SBS3912A on 145 today

should make 145 a full DD service. there are mix of old and new DDs in this 145 service.
Full DD nay,Most probably 50-50 enough bro...Way better than all single decker fleets...176 is the inspiration hahaha

SBST will slowly add in more DDs to Sv145... looking at their fleet replacement program, they only bought 250 citaros from 2015 to 2016 (and most of it will go to BSEP), so most likely they are going to put more DDs on more services..

Gradually, I expect 145 to get more DDs. It is like sv 143 - needs majority DD fleet. Some SDs can be taken out if DDs are added as sometimes a SD is sent back to back, as a KUB cannot clear the load. But on the same time slot if DD is sent, it will clear the load.
