2 DD buses have been added to sv 257. If I am not wrong, the fleet was of 11 buses... and now it has become fleet of 13 buses... full fleet DD ofcourse!
sv 850E has one AM trip reduced from 7 trips to 6 trips, but in turn has one more SD slot converted to DD.
Sequence:
Enviro--Enviro--Enviro--MANA22--MANA22--MANA22
-8-7-5-5-5 (frequency between buses)
No 4 trip should be DD also,5th and 6th trip A22 can manage..

850E just got its third DD...
I think 951E should get a third DD as well..
Maybe in Q2/Q3 we might have one more DD added to sv 850E when more ring road BTOs are open for occupation.
I am still very surprised that sv 513E has not got a fleet add even after 2 years of service... and the 2 DDs clogging good 60-70 pax on each bus.

LTA should introduce 850 starting from Sembawang,Via 850E route at Yishun and fly at expressway ending at Shenton Way..Wldep/Amdep
Can start with 10 DDs/2 SDs for WL and 7 SDs for AM

Your wish come true. SBST will be adding 1 from 17 Jan.

This is awesome!!! Woohooo... I was really surprised that there was no additional trip yet... good move!!
What about the timings? It is 07.30, 07.38 (new), 07.45
Should the timings have been expanded... like 07.30, 07.40, 07.50 #just saying...
carbikebus and SBS5010P: how do you guys feel now about sv 45 getting another BSEP WEG?
Whatever,The results will speak of it!
I would like to see sv 37 get a CGBP BSEP fleet add in the next round. Buses are heavily packed, and there has been no upgrade to this service for the last 2.5 years. The only respite is sv 4 does take away some of the north leg loading, who would earlier walk to take sv 37.

From a selfish point of view, of course i would applaud 45 to get more buses esp DD. Because 45's the only direct bus svc from lorong ah soo to ITE AMK and NYP.
However, like u said 45 has many long distance travellers since SBST has so many DDs to spare, im okay with it
LTA/SMRT do not have any more MANs left under BSEP to do further service upgrades.
As of now, WLDEP/WPDEP have 0 MANs left, AMDEP has only 1 and KJDEP has 3.
If sv 307 is getting fleet add this month, that will reduce KJDEP spare buses to 2.
Is there no more MAN SDs going to be registered under BSEP? Not a single bus registered in last 6 months ever since DDs started coming in.
Ofcourse, many MANs will get freed up with SD-->DD upgrades at Yishun, but given CCK/BPJ are bound to get new services, more buses will be needed.
Again shortage of buses on SMRT side while SBST continue to get surplus Citaros from BSEP.

I'm not sure if I had misinterpreted your post, but I think you just kind of answered your own thoughts. SMRT probably used up their quotas (and funds) allocated for BSEP towards registering the Enviros under BSEP scheme instead of the BSEP MAN SDs.

Yes I know that... but as I pointed out there are barely any MAN SDs left for introducing new routes and fleet add.
It will only be from the SDs that become spare because the slot gets converted from SD to DD.
I believe there is another order in standing right for BSEP buses? Was looking for the press release that had the bus split but couldn't locate.

For KJ, have a feeling that the 308X MANs will eventually be replaced by ADLs...prolly will leave only 1 or 2 at most...

951E sequence changed :
[OLD] : Enviro > MAN > Enviro > MAN > MAN > MAN
[NEW] : Enviro > Enviro > MAN > MAN > MAN > MAN[tbc also]
Saw the 2nd Enviro taking the 7:24AM slot instead of 7:31AM..

I think all 3 will be under BSEP..
291 to get 2 DDs.. wow... that is luxury... also shows PPSS has been ineffective to manage peak hour loads on both 291 and 293 (even 293 got a DD add only in Oct, and now another in 3 months time).

Wow. That will mean Sv 291's freq during Peak will be like shortest 0 minutes? But they'll probably put 1 min as shortest frequency on E-tt.
If you include the Sv 291P buses, wow.

If you ask me, I think PPSS operating hours are so badly timed, they missed out the inportant crowds. AM peak to me is more of 7 - 9 am, and PM peak to me is more of 6 - 8:30 pm
The only full load i see for 291P is the Zhongtong bus,the other 3 ppl like dont wanna board..291 add 2 more DDs or 2 SDs convert to DDs?
Or additional trips from the 2 split DDs?

It is the kind of buses that are being used... ppl are not ready to board... even in the peak hour of 6pm to 7pm... you see buses going empty or are forced to board... i don't think changing hours will make a difference.
I have ever seen people wait in queue for next 291 DD/KUB rather than boarding the PPSS bus. Ground staff has to force ppl to board. Hence, LTA has now been forced to add buses as PPSS has not made any change to the queues at Tampines interchange.
