Most WDL residents will still prefer NSL that takes them directly to Orchard. YT/CCK residents dont even have this option.
As a Yew Tee resident..yes! we need another svc to Orchard area.. 190 itself cannot cope with the demand certainly. I totally agree with the proposed route for 700 too :)

what is your MP doing? Other areas are getting services, YT has got none since BSEP. Don't you'll scream loud for a trunk service in the area? Also parts of CCK Way / CCK dr, CCK st 54.. all are left without bus service and people have to walk long distance. Is all this acceptable to the residents there?

They dun seem to care leh..so far CCK/YT only added 307P (which is helpful only to a limited extent) and 302A (load unsure as i haven been observing this service)...
300 and 302 each had 2 BSEP addition. (both have 3 if consider crossover from 982E)
But then CCK int also getting packed already. Now need to have road marshalls at the bus bays to direct buses (especially the rigid ones) into respectively lots and this is especially evident during peak and meal time. The exit and Lot one area will always jam badly during peak. To be frank, i feel CCK INT has a bad design (ie busy zebra crossing to blk 302 coffeeshop at exit of interchange, buses turn left straight meet a traffic light at CCK Loop/ CCK Ave 4 junction. CCK Ave 4 is forever congested (weekday and weekends alike).
Things will be worse when those flats along Ave 5/6/7 are done and the new service is launched.
As much as i would like new services there (or 700 redirected to cck int), i also hope that CCK int will not become the 2nd Boon Lay int...

BPJ still has space. Bus can start BPJ do Keat Hong and loop at CCK so that does not have to terminate at CCK interchange.

Saw 4 ADLs on sv 972 when I took it this morning. Now confirmed. As of today, 2 more BSEP ADLs added to 972, replacing MANs.
They are: 3517S, 3518P
So now sv 972 fleet is 5 DDs, 8 SDs -- still need to add another 3 DDs to this service.

I think more for the BTO flats along Jalan Kayu for sv 86 and along Fernvale/Sengkang West ave for sv 163. Ofcourse Seletar Mall will increase commuter traffic as well but will be more on sv 50/163.

There's also somebody whom edited SMB3531A as 169 perm, but the hidden part(unsure part) stated it may cross 963...which is likely to be SMB3525T slot..

I have to apologies and misunderstanding that on 13 Oct I spotted SMB 3531A as for why is not at sgwiki as is replaces SMB 3525T.

4 SMRT ADLs
3 169 BSEP: 3536-3538.
1 crossover BSEP: 3531A is replaces 3525T
As predicted, sv 969 did get an additional BSEP ADL (3530C).
So now have 2 perm ADLs + 2 crossover. Now looking forward to SD --> DD conversions from SMRT side.
Also sv 190 got 2 perm confirmed 5006/5007... wonder which buses have been replaced!?!!?!
Great 969 need DDs nt bendies,Tampines Int getting crowded..For now only 67 use bendies better
969 Wldep all can use DDs while Amdep side use all SDs
