So in effect, they converted a ASD slot to a WDD slot. Timings at different sectors over the past week I've spotted 3818P tallies with that theory:
1050hrs: PSR Dr 1 Blk 210 bus stop (to Suntec)
1535hrs: PSR Dr 1 outside PSR MRT station bus stop (to PSR Int)
1619hrs: Loyang Ave bus stop (to Suntec)And then you add in the 1420hrs+ slot near Bras Basah which others have spotted (in direction to Suntec), so you have a Sv 518 DD that's effectively on A/P shift on Weekdays.
So it puzzles me even more why some peeps say they can't find a Sv 518 DD on Weekdays. I'm not sure if 3818P runs on Weekends too, but I think high chance it does since the e-tt change is for all days and not only for Weekdays.

Makes sense on weekends also... If u see 502 has mostly DDs plying on weekend. 518 should also get more on weekends considering lot of ppl travel to Orchard area on weekends. I want to see DD on 30E next. It gets both AM and PM bet 55-60 pax. Deserves a DD for long express route. Will also promote more ppl from Maple Tree/HF to take it.

A. 1 BSEP fleet add (3411D)
B. 3 BSEP SD --> DD conversion (3393Y, 3384Z, 3414X)
Current weekday fleet of 15 buses (13 DDs, 2 SDs) from 14 buses (9 DDs, 5 SDs)
** As I had predicted, sv 50 soon will become full fleet DD given the # of new HDB occupation around Punggol Dr, Anchorvale and Fernvale

Anyway to add on, i do think BNDEP has deployed 3818P on the wrong timings on Sv 518 so far. In addition to the timings I posted earlier, I had spotted 3818P at PSR Dr 1 (bus stop outside PSR MRT) at around 1822hrs+.
So if anyone did calculations, it would have reached Suntec on its next trip around 2030hrs. Isn't that way past the timing in which Sv 518 would have the most crowds from the city on Weekdays? Hmm.

If that's the timing... really faulty... 972 do the same thing.. but I still get the rationale coz turnaround time fast.. and 5pm and 7.30pm got huge crowds going back to BPJ as well... but if you see peak 6pm slot no DD on 972.

sv 182 full fleet DD. The non-WAB MK4 gone.
sv 194 got fleet add from BSEP.
sv 123 got 2 fleet adds due to extension to Harbourfront interchange (now 14 buses instead of 12 buses)
sv 123M has 5 new buses. So overall huge capacity increase for Bukit Purmei residents.

First thing is to improve frequency... From what I see, some buses are either very far apart (up to 15 mins wait) or too close (5 mins, which is too short to get such a load). 112 and 113 hopefully can get DDs soon, even 112 is quite utilised nowadays... Only question is whether got restriction for Hougang St 11 for 113 looping point.

113 no need DDs and extra buses 113 can cut buses to 1 bus at 2h frequency later ppl say i SMB228X. U can ask local blogger MrBrown how svc 113 is like during peak hours later sekali ppl say i troll leh. if 113 got a minor improvement i will complain here uh? if LTA and SBST listened i wouldnt be here yakking
As a frequent taker of 113 im not lieing about the loadings during PM.
113's pm peak/ pm off peak freq at kovan is 5 - 10mins max.
They trying max out the no. of trips for the 518 DD, I supposed. It needs to reach back in time to start its last trip (or downrun). IIRC, it is either the third or second last bus to reach Pasir Ris Int (seen it at 12.40am while last bus to reach Loyang is normally 1am)
S-shift DDs are helpful as driver do not need to waste time to tell passengers to move in.
321 formally use LOs before (according to old forum posts) but that is a 2x DD. Not sure about 3x DDs plying Hougang St 11
