Doesn't it make sense to show your support to those who are misunderstood? Even when you have a friend who is sad, you would go and comfort him, by saying you understand his feelings and tell him your thoughts, right? That was what I was doing, post counts just reflect on how much you want to say, they do not show your popularity, which I think you suspect is what I want. You are wrong, it is more important to learn how people feel and think...

The rego might be
SMB or LTA
3 digit or 4 digit.

I think it's SMB8XXX :o
bus still not registered yet as of just now. rego is very closely related to this bus.
Assuming 25 non-BSEP MANdy and 15 BSEP MANdy,
MANdy may be SMB1001-SMB1025 (non-BSEP), SMB2035-SMB2049 (BSEP)
166 non-BSEP ADL DDs, 34 BSEP ADL DDs (similar in proportion to MAN NL323F),
DD may be SMB389-SMB554 (non-BSEP), SMB2001-SMB2034

Rego looks like KUB at first sight
Originally posted by carbikebus:I think LTA rego wont be use..Im thinking SMB5xxx will be use instead while bendies cont with 389
I think DDs will continue with 389, so that the bendy production batch buses won't be confused with the demonstrator.

bendies i am not so sure, but DD u are right, but 4 digits though.

Edit: Impossible.
1. Does not make sense for a DD to have a proceeding number after a bendy. Both totally different and can cause even more confusion (such as when it comes to maintenance or deployments)
2. Care to explain 8033D?
For MAN A24, my guess is SMB390J - SMB415Y (assuming there's 25 NBSEP) as SMRT's Citaros and OC500LEs were registered by consecutive numbers. (Excluding SMB137A, SMB138Y)
The MAN A24 NBSEP buses may be impossible to be registered from SMB1001B to SMB1025H. TIB1001Z - TIB1025E will definitely confuse the bus drivers with SMB1001B - SMB1025H.
As for the ADL E500 NBSEP, my guess is either from SMB4001G or SMB5001A and maybe SMB6001T onwards.

well, according to a post on Facebook, one of the Enviro500 buses will have the license number SMB5002Y.

buses[IN]gapore! may be right. ADL might start from SMB5001A onwards.
Maybe 5001 is reserved for demo which is built in Scotland which has not arrived yet.
5002 onwards is built in China.
SMB5002Y with chasis no., SFD76CLR5DGTL3345 registered today.
demo which is built in Scotland the number might be smb 5888
Today, we all witness the registration of the first ever SMRT Double Decker bus - SMB5002Y . :D
The Vehicle Details of SMB5002Y can be found at https://vrl.lta.gov.sg/lta/vrl/action/pubfunc?ID=EnquireTransferFee > SMB5002Y > 19062014
Credits to (buses[IN]gapore!) for the information. :)
