This is a thread to keep track of the deployments for the PPSS services for those who are interested to take the services.
Note: As private operators might shuffle their fleet due to charters etc, other buses might be seen serving the services instead.

240P really has a bizarre deployment. Someone told me that 240P was using full fleet Zhong Tongs and 1 Isuzu, but last friday when I took it was the other way round. In addition I saw other Tong Tar Zhong Tongs with revenue equipments installed. Also I noticed that 240P only utilises 2 buses per trip, then the buses go for a break and 2 buses will replace it, while 222P and 912P buses will take a short break at the last stop (if they are early) before starting a new loop.

i remembering PC541 (Zhong Tong) having the revenue equipment when i saw it on NTU shuttle last week..possible it to be one of the 240P fleet?
Btw, the deployment is consider as "S" shift, not AM/PM...
PA3888R and PC2430Z has been redeployed to 268P.

The answer is simple, bus fans in Singapore are too used to the fixed deployments of the two public transport operators, it doesn't really work that way for all private operators, particularly if the buses are parked at a depot/private yard, they could just get any suitable bus for the job. For PPSS, they are probably required to fit a number of buses with the fare equipment, and this number includes the extra buses which may be required by LTA as backup.
This probably means your thread's existence is under doubt.

You are half right, however it varies from operator to operator. CDG and BT & Tan has a fixed set of deployment, and BT & Tan has spare Golden Dragon coaches (which I haven't seen on service yet).
Tong Tar also has spare Zhong Tong Sunnys.

How sure are you with BT&Tan's deployment when the (supposedingly) 912P buses appeared on 268P, how sure are you that these are redeployments and not just a one day deployment, since it was just the first day of operations for 268P.
It really depends on where the buses are parked. ComfortDelgro buses are usually fixed to a driver, who would usually park it at a HVP near their homes, this means the same driver will drive it everyday except on off days, which explains the "fixed" deployments you see. BT&Tan and Tong Tar on the other hand have most of their buses parked in one or two locations (some may be parked at HVPs due to space constraints), meaning that drivers can be asked to drive any suitable bus available.
Just to say, I keep seeing PA6177P on NUS Shuttle Bus Services... Not sure why it is listed as a 222P bus...

6177 is also a permanent NUS shuttle bus. It even has NUS stickers inside.

Hmm I see. I will modify the list.

Because private bus companies usually schedule set of jobs for their drivers, they could do factory or school in the morning then do some shuttles during the day before doing PPSS, as long as the bus doesn't move, the bus company doesn't earn any money.
any PTE double decker bus deploy?
