Slightly OT, but still relates to the area...
In conjunction with upcoming facilities in Changi Business Park area, svc.41 & 126 will be introduced to temporary loop at the Changi South Ave 1, outside the future Changi Business Park Bus Terminal. These 2 bus services will cater the needs to certain MRT stations and quick getaway near to city areas.
On the other hand, new svc.44 will bring you to the growing town, Punggol. The inconvenience along Kaki Bukit has been a highlight for this introduction due to the stretch without any bus service plying.
Route Infomation:
Red line - Express Sector to Destination Trip.
Maroon line - Express Sector of Return Trip.
41 (Habourfront Int <> Changi South Ave 1) [LOOP]:
Green/Blue
44 (Punggol Temporary Int <> Changi Business Park Central 2) [LOOP]:
Brown/Grey
126 (St. Michael's Ter <> Changi South Ave 1) [LOOP]:
Black/Orange

Ayer rajah bus park cannot introduce new service already,no empty lots inside the depot.
What I can think is svc 20 will just loop there from Tampines and for a start 3 new service will start from there mainly goes to North side,West and probably Boon Lay,Since Joo Koon int and Loyang depot also slated to complete.
Fancy svc 1?CBP to Bukit Panjang?
Svc 46 CBP to Boon Lay?
Svc 47 CBP to Jurong East?

Hi mr carbikebus, the destinations are a bit too far. All 3 to the west??? I believe short-haul should be more appropriate. As per what TIB1234T says, harbourfront, punggol, st michael look more likely. For boon lay, jurong east and bukit panjang(upcoming), let mrt trains do the job due to the distance.

Sv 44 looks good. I would divert the bus via HG ave 7 instead of Tampines rd and make it terminate at Buangkok Interchange (future) instead via Upper Serangoon rd, Buangkok Dr.

I don't like Sv 41. It will not get many pax as it caters to very few housing estates. Can do express instead with 2 am and 2 PM buses in both directions.
I rather it serve Bedok Reservoir and Kaki Bukit before it embarks onto the KPE via Airport Rd exit (NOT HG) and let it exit by Buangkok Dr.
Then I suggest it to go like this:
Buangkok Dr -> Punggol Rd -> Compassvale Dr -> Compassvale Walk -> Sengkang Int (Alighting only) -> Punggol West to the interchange
Maybe Punggol North Int in the future? (;
For the Opp direction maybe can let both alighting and boarding at the int.

Then that's ridiculous.
Coz the trains arent very much faster too.
In fact I think buses can be faster!

Yeah right!!! From Changi to Boon Lay / Bukit Panjang, bus can be faster than train???
Originally posted by carbikebus:If LTA think that trains only good for long hauls then they have to rethink again,Its good to have long haul bus svc with plying expressway along the routes.
Long haul express service is okay like 506 style. They should totally avoid routes like 51, 61 in today's scenario.
Tot 41 was slated for kembangan to m parade... Approved by ptc nt implemented... Few yrs ago liao

But needs to start at Bedok maybe because Kembangan and Marine Parade no terminal.

Assuming now SG is willing to go HK style.
And assuming now is 2017.
For svc 46/47,
A bit looping around CBP - 10 mins
ECP/MCE/AYE - 30 mins
A bit of looping at the respective heartlands - 10 mins.
Only 50 minutes! What's the benefit compared to EWL? Comfortable ride, no transfer (MRT have transfer at Tanah Merah), less stops!
What about svc 1?
A bit looping around CBP - 10 mins
ECP/KPE/PIE/BKE - 45 mins
A little loop at BPJ - 10 mins
65 minutes - as compared to a 34-stop journey on the DTL. Or fastest scenario, 22 stops with 2 transfers. Both of which, with reference to CCL rides, will most probably take no less than 75 minutes.
But again, more comfortable rides, no transfer, less stops! And maybe a more direct routing!
And this is hub-and-spoke! You get "hub" bus routes and "spokes" like svc 20!
Originally posted by carbikebus:If 12 berth can park 6 svc then the depot that control CBP can only minor control as the turnover of crew resting and change of shift is very limited just like Lor 1.But Lor 1 still have back up lots..CBP meant for Loyang Depot control majority duties
Lorong1 ve back up lots? Nt within the terminal rite?
Evtime pass by, onli ve 2 of each svc there... stil ve spare...

All, let's be pragmatic. For the 4 bus services at changi business park, 1 to tampines (east), 1 to northeast (sengkang/Punggol), 1 to west and 1 to central/north. Not possible 3 to west side. Cheers.

Last time when i am on split duties for 961,980 or 985 i would park my bus within the lots that facing the river..upon 12 min to depart then i would shift my bus to the designated lots. Its all within the terminal, even SBST buses also park there.CBP the max can take 4 svc unless 2 of them loops there
