Current and future bus depot

  With the rising in population and bus network current bus depots and bus parks already at its peak..Soon Lee an average of 560 buses,Bukit Batok around 380,Ayer Rajah only 280 the most,Braddell with other vehicles only can hold 268 buses,Ang Mo Kio about 585,Hougang around 580,Bedok North 570 and Changi Bus Park about 250.Coming up is Loyang depot which i estimated around 600 lots for buses and Changi will be handed over to private bus operator as mentioned by a user here..SBST need Ayer Rajah replacement depot along west corridor near to town which can hold at least 400 buses and a new bus park at Northeast areas with a minimum of 250 lots. SMRT Woodlands need to relocated to a more bigger depot which can hold 700 buses due to the rising populations around the area..Dunno about Wlbp but there is a need for Ang Mo Kioreplacement which can hold 500 buses.Coming up is Bulim which can accomodate 550 buses and im very sure Kranji will close once lease expired..Theres a need for a bus park mear Central west(Bt Merah/Queensway) which can hold 280 buses or the Kallang coach park there is the best option

  Nope but where the Malaysia-Singapore express as well as other heavy vehicles park..61 & 961 plies there.Another option a mini bus park at Kim Chuan depot once SBST rail move out to Gali Batu Depot

  i believe the existing building structure at NEL depot is designed to cater for adding some more storeys on top. i think can build a bus depot cum bus workshop on top of this NEL depot and even a couple of office floor levels above the new depot. The depot driveway access should be built along Buangkok Green. the new multi storey bus depot should have acoustic screens or walls on the building exterior to minimise environmental impact to HDB flats residents opposite. In this way can save valuable land space.

  Looks good for a sub bus park for Hougang.. Kallang River there also good for a bus park for SMRT.

  You reply just to say this?Then what about you?Siao2 with loadings and why this svc no high cap buses?Isn't this all about bus topic discussions?At least im not off topic le friend..Without new bus depots where the hell they wanna park the extra buses?Your carpark ah?
