Some buses are really noisy! Especially the Scania K203UB Euro V. But there are some buses that produce an even louder sound.
The observed loud buses are:
SBS5010P, SBS5011L, SBS5156C, SBS5157A, SBS5196L, SBS8135T, SBS8576C, SBS8743M, SBS8906K, SBS8949L, SBS5012J
SBS8135T sounds like a 'racing bus' sometimes.
There are also loud B9TL CDGE.
The observed loud buses are:
SBS7315Y, SBS7324X
The scale measures from 1 to 8. Buses which exceed 4 are loud. Most KUB Euro V measure 2 - 4. e.g. SBS8893M, SBS5159U, SBS5013G, SBS8740X
There are KUBs that are softer than most KUBs.
SBS8149D, SBS8262J, SBS8305U, SBS8440L, SBS8591J, SBS8741T
Are there any more buses with such loud sounds?
Sorry for the additional A in the title. Mods, please remove the A at the end?

8743M isn't noisy...
The BRBP 145 Euro V Scanias... SBS8949L from 143 also quie loud...
SBS7421Z
TS, quite a number of buses have noisy engines after a while...
Either over utilised or not properly maintained...
You left out the B10s, CDGE B9s...
SBS5010P, SBS5011L, SBS5012J and SBS5013G.
On SBS5012J you can hear the sound of metal dismantling itself. Very noisy
All of them are perm buses of 113.
Take them and your eardrums will explode
SBS8622D (HGDEP 159) is quite decently maintained.
8799C 8820Z
SBS8878H, SBS8879E, SBS8880A and SBS8884P.
Off topic
I took a Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Singapore, and oh my god, it was so noisy. I had bubbles in my tummy coz of the sound.
TIB1142A? Not really the engine but there's a really loud air rushing sound as the bus accelerates. But it's been awhile since I happened to see the bus so maybe it's rectified already. One reason why I chose it as one of my favourite buses is I can more or less recognize it by its sound if it accelerates past me haha. Perhaps it's not the loudest but quite distinctive in my opinion.

Not really for SBS5013G.
You must give roughly how loud the bus is if SBS5157A is very loud.
Yesterday, SBS5196L's driver was forcing the accelerator. Hammer sounds could occasionally be heard and these sounds were not from outside the bus. So did 5157A's driver. The bus was very slow even with the accelerator stepped to the maximum, so he just forced the accelerator even harder which caused unbearable sounds. No one dared to sit at the back row of seats!
SBS7324X's sound in the interchange could be heard from SV147's first left turning point. Most of the BBDEP 147 buses seem to be very loud.

TIB864G (WLDEP 176) same problem...

SBS5013G doesn't seem very loud.

SBS8586A (CGBP 10) ever had loud vrooming noises when I took it on 10... Sounded like F1 car, like terrible, no kidding... It was so slow, yet got such awful noises?

SBS8135T once had this 'racing bus' sound.
'Racing bus' is the bus equivalent to a racing car.
SBS8563R. Could even hear the radiator from the upper deck of the VSO.
TIB1027A used to have/still has monster voith

Add-on SBS8169X and SBS8266Z to the 'softer KUBs' list... These buses are really smooth and the interior of SBS8169X doesn't shake much at all, in fact the doors are very stable... I agree with SBS8262J being one of the best KUBs, very nice KUB from BNDEP!
Anyway, there are some KUBs with loud idling radiators, but are fine when running... SBS8569A is one example.
