Yea, these timings are based on non-peak hours... Ever took TIB815Z on 169 (31 Jan) and the BC sped from Woodlands Int (started trip at 3.40p.m.) to Ang Mo Kio Int (reached at 4.32p.m.) in an unbelievable 52 mins! Usually, only the bus would reach AMK at 4.40p.m. (start at 3.40p.m. on Sundays and PHs) or 4.50p.m. (start at 3.50p.m. on Saturdays) under 169AP07...

I seriously do not think it will take 90 minutes - for 178's case because most of the time when I rode on this service it is always under schedule like 809S case early by 12 minutes but I am not sure if they do apply that now.

was onboard 300 today (TIB886T on 300AP04). Saw its timetable and it actually showed that for the whole PM shift, each trip is given 39-41 mins!! Such a short route of 6.3km need 40 mins? Bus was already travelling very slowly such that it wouldnt bunch with SMB3050X yet it still reach cck int 6 mins early...
Whereas 307 have to travel 11.4km yet only given 50 mins, sometimes even 43 mins at night...

Agreed. Mostly peak hours the bus will bunch up, freq sux and worst case split shift driver end later than their expected timing. For example, 858 332C start at 4.50pm, ended shift 3h later when the normal journey is 2h 30 mins. 966S201 start its last trip at 1815h and end its shift at 2045h but at times i saw it OS at 9pm.

yar! peak hours i think bus bunching is unavoidable..given uncertainty in traffic conditions and passenger loading. and this will cause buses to lambat...
300 non-peak already 40 mins, cant imagine its run time during peak...
