I approach the top up station and the lady say I not schooling so she can't expand my expiry..... WTF???All my friends only need pay child fees except me and nowadys, I have to use 60cents to pay for bus fare when I go to work.. How to solve this issue????

I've just completed my studies. Can I still use the card?
Congratulations on completing your studies! Not to worry, the School Smartcard can be used for a further 4 months upon completion of studies. The card can be further extended for students attending JC/CI/Pre-U.
For Primary School Smartcard, concession fare will be deducted during the 4 months and Secondary concession pass can be purchased.
For other School Smartcards, Adult fares will be deducted during the 4 months and concession passes cannot be purchased.
We would like to kindly advise all Secondary 1 students to return their old Primary School Smartcard to TransitLink once they have received their new Secondary School Smartcard. At any point of time during the 4 months grace period, you may request for an immediate refund (if any) at any TransitLink Ticket Office or Concession Card Replacement Office. But once the 4 month period is up, your card will expire and cannot be used or refunded immediately. You will then be issued a receipt and the refund can be collected after 5 working days from any TransitLink Ticket Office or Concession Card Replacement Office.
*Note: Students whose School Smartcards are linked to GIRO or Auto Credit Card will also need to present their cards at the Sales Machines or Counters (TransitLink Ticket Office/Concession Card Replacement Office, Add Value Machine Plus, General Ticketing Machine and Passenger Service Centre).
Students and Parents can call the TransitLink Hotline at 1800–2255 663 for more information.
what do you mean? It means I do not need to pay adult fare anymore?
If I am not wrong right, you will continue to pay adult fares unless you apply for JC/ITE. If you applied for Poly, you will continue to pay adult fares. If you have any doubts you can ask the ticketing office at the Bus interchanges/MRT stations.
There is no free lunch.

Since you are going to JC maybe you could enquire with the ticketing office? If I am not wrong after your application to JC your card will then be updated the next time you top up.

Since posting results have not been released, I don't think the ticketing office will accept my request so for these few days before I go JC, I have to suck it up and use 60 cents for bus fees. Haiz
