  Inside URA plans I did saw they mention:Joo Koon,Tengah,Jurong East,Bukit Panjang,Woodlands North,Yishun,Punggol Central,Hougang Central,Bidadari,Marina South,Bedok Central & Tampines North.My question is Bidadari fall under which depot?Brbp or Hgdep?Woodlands north & Tampines North where exactly the location?Marina South?Sorry questions a bit noob...

  You la.. always interested in which bus which depot...  Quite a few interesting times ahead with new hubs in Maruna South, Tampines North, Bidadari, Woodlands North and Tengah.

  tampines north probably at tampines dirt bike site that is going to make way?

  The URA planning was to develop the available lands around RP, Admiralty Park, Admiralty Rd West area, near Wlands Industrial E8/Ave 4 area, etc... Probably that's why the Thomson Line was planned to start near RP with more developments comnig in future...

  Thats great news..beside that heard rumours new depot and sub bus parks also planning.Not sure exactly where but a new SMRT depot around Central North,Eastern and 1 more SBST bus park around central west is much anticipated.

  Hmm...

  1) Central North = Central part of the North?  Or
  2) Central North = Between Central & Northern part of S'pore? 

  Because if its

  1), then my guess is it might be somewhere near Mandai Rd/SLE/BKE/ or even W'lands Ave 12...
  2), then it might be near W'lands Rd/Bt. Panjang...

  Central North ie Ang Mo Kio/Yio Chu Kang areas although it fall under NorthEast? Central West ie Pasir Panjang,Commonwealth,Redhill areas,Hint for Ayer Rajah replacement?

  I believe the new Woodlands North bus interchange is going to be similar to Bukit Panjang bus interchange, as it is near to Woodlands bus interchange, similar to Bukit Panjang bus interchange being near to Choa Chu Kang bus interchange.

  However, unlike Bukit Panjang bus interchange, I think the new Woodlands North bus interchange will be used by various bus operators, rather than just one bus operator. 

  It may be similar to Jurong East bus interchange, which has Malaysia bus operators using it for their cross-boarder bus services.

   

  • On a seperate note, the future bus interchange beside Tuas Link MRT Station may eventually replace Jurong East bus interchange as the bus interchange where Malaysia bus operators use for cross-boarder bus services through the 2nd Link.

  I dun think Jurong East will be replace.Passengers will be more delighted to alight at JE rather than Tuas although theres MRT.

  I also think so coz area between TPE and Tampines Ave 9 will be developed for HDBs. So Tampines North Interchange will  be somewhere here. It is necessary given so many services calling at Tampines Interchange to divert some to Tampines North.

  Not sure. Why would passengers prefer to alight at JE when MRT takes them directly to closest crossing point?

  Yes, there is a lot of land in that area - so more development can come in future. Also around Tampines Ave 12, there is lot of land for development. I can see these two areas developing.

  Behind Yishun also, there is full Simpang area which can be developed and I believe will be. I don't see any LRT/MRT here so guess Simpang will be covered by buses. Many new bus services will be launched / edited in future to cover this link.

  One more area for development is along Bukit Batok Road, Brickland road - lot of space for development. I don't know why they have not chosen this area compared to Tengah which seems further away.

  Unless Tuas West Link is develop probably CW will terminate there..Tengah is somewhere where 174 plies Upp Jurong Rd very near to Bt Batok and Jurong West till extension...Bulim area also
