That is correct, but this would not be anytime soon as well since the markets for the triaxle B9TL are not requiring Euro6 emissions standard anytime soon.

The NBfLs are also preparing to get Euro 6 standard in 2014...

The industry's focus these days is fuel costs/consumption and environmental issues, so power junkies can expect to be greatly disappointed.
For enthusiasts who want to be a step ahead, print all the documents out. You will need them in a few years' time from now.

Can Leyland Olympian DDs be counted as Volvo DD? Because for the most part it's similar.

nice stash of material you have there.
eitherways, to refer to Wrightbus, they are moving onto MB engines (934 iirc) for their hybrid buses, which is notable because the MB engines have been known for (better) torque curves than the competition, something i approve of hahas.
not sure if youve picked this trend up but the e6 bus engines of late (MB, Volvo esp) seem to have dropped the 5:1 torque:power ratio in favour of maybe a 4ish:1 ratio. you seem to be getting more power for that said amt of torque, or less torque for the same power rating. cant say much about drivability as of far but something worth looking out for when the first e6 buses hit singapore.
