Spotted SBS8000Z at the traffic light twrds Jcube from INT. Only spotted 8000Z. 8001 dunno go where. 8000Z inside only have 1 BC driving at the wheel. Front EDS show nothing (eds not on I guess). Surprised to spot it still in SG (8000Z). Maybe it was layup and now returning to its perm svc?
Time of Spotting: 4:20PM 19/12/13 Thursday
Info confirm 100% right. If u dun believe can go to JE int and camp for a few days/weeks/months/years/decades/centuries etc.
srry no pic provided, was in hurry to go JCube.
Walao still in SG, shit bus still wanna retain, SBST dumb or what, SMRT also give up alr SBST still don't wanna let it go, accept it SG can't use China bus for PT it's hard to maintain and short life, poor quality somemore... Unless use it for long-haul direct and let it travel 100km/h like in China in order for it to not provide OSIM massage...
it was not lay up at all...

That "shit" bus has more technology than what your brain can probably take besides all the shit language we always see from you.
Why would anybody want to use a hybrid bus for long-haul routes when the cost-savings are in start-stop operations except goondus?
***
While we are on the topic, I am surprised nobody attempted to poke their noses inside the bus depots where the buses were?
And busanalyzer's LTA friend did not inform you all?
Awwww.....
Hahahaha
ATB just started a fight ahahahhahahahahahaha

I'm sorry, I was talking about the overall quality of China buses. I don't care if the bus is hybrid or not. And I'm talking about the China buses in overall should be better with long haul. Coz China buses perform better under high speed. Okay I buy your info, if it's hybrid then it shouldn't do long haul.
But please mind your attitude and language when I have done NO efforts to step in your ground. You can ask me to mind my words, but you don't criticise someone back, especially if he has done no wrong to you. You've been doing this often and so I just wanna remind you. I respect what you have to say, but I do not like the way you express it.
Sorry to burst your bubble but only European engine chinese buses can perform albeit the noisy radiator/exhaust system and rattling body. The Chinese engine are not on par yet with Japanese let alone European. Why i know?Ive driven from Kinglongs,Higer,Yutongs,Nissans,Hinos,Isuzus,Mitsubishis and other european brands as well

Yutong is the only bus I know can barely reach the standards, rode it on Chinese highways at fast lane and it feels like a KUB, but a bit less shaky.
Neoplan is great though.
Why can't SBST just let go of China brands, they are not worth to invest in the long run... China large market doesn't mean everything must buy from China...
I have to agree though.SMRT also can invest in low floor Japanese buses...
Like.. What brand of Japanese buses? Mitsubishi...
Nissan I think, not sure what brands Toei use in Tokyo...

lol.
Who cares if you "step in my ground"?
I dont have any.
You say that you were generalising, but you used "bus" which is singular.
True. In English, for the same type of bus, "bus" could be plural. But you said "shit bus" and there are only 2 of them for reference's sake. How is this applicable to what you claim?
Alamak.
Bluff also must bluff more convincingly.
That was nit-picking.
The meat of my take is here:
You didnt give credit to those who at least tried to bring in something that could be a game-changer in the bus-fleet!
All you do is call it "shit"!
What is your problem?
Of course you would be asking to be whacked.
You talk about respect.
Where is it for those who have been working hard FOR YOU in the background?

The reason I used "bus" is becoz I cannot ensure 8001 is still in SG, so I used it to refer to 8000 only.
I mean, the trial has been a fail and it has been like a few years since SBST has brought it in. If not why is it lay-up for so long?
Not to say the China buses are THAT bad, but is it suitable for the SG PT system? I doubt.

Nobody said that SBST will expand the adoption of such buses.
For more information, wait 10 years.
Or *cough cough* ask insiders.
You can do anything, just dont get caught right?
WRONG.
If you want to help, go sign the NDA and work with LTA, I am sure they will like to hear your opinions on these.
If you need more convincing, think about the free public transport rides you get as a perk for working with LTA.
Edit: What makes a trial successful btw? Did anybody here even stop to think? Was the trial in fact for SBST only?
When you answer these questions, maybe it will be that wee bit clearer.

Please do not jump to conclusions.
As for the bus, that is for me to know and you to find out.

I'm not kidding.
In the past, even the BCs dont like the bus.

Isuzu, Hino, Nissan Diesel, and Mitsubishi.

That isnt what he meant.

But you should pay heed to them.
Then you might understand what he actually meant.

Bcos if peace meant sweeping problems under the carpet then its a useless one.
Just like how the previous owners of this forum decided to just abandon this forum to the dogs a long time ago.
