Lay-up and refurbishment of SBST's Volvo B10M Mk IV DM3500

  The previous thread is reserved for redeployments and no refurbishment thread for DM3500s are found. So this one is new.

  160 will use the JB-Registered Scania K230UB Euro IV Batch 1 while 170/170X will continue using DM3500s, with some deregistered early and replaced by newer JB-Registered DM3500s from BNDEP, HGDEP and SLBP.

  Err. In case the thread starter hadn't noticed, there were already DM3500s with newer red leather A/C ducts since about 1.5years+ ago. I do remember 2811P getting it since 2 years ago..and a few other AMDEP & BNDEP DM3500s which are now in BBDEP getting ready for JB duty..

  I think those minor few that were refurbished before this round were of the later batch because they are the ones now in BBDEP prepped for JB service, but the 2 newly reported ones are of the early DM3500 batch. Those are like 2 different batches, so I do think 2694K & 2698A that bunch's refurbishment is for the lifespan extension.

  I think you mean those soft cushy leather (which is stickered on) ducts found on the Volvo Olympians and Striders, right? If so, I guess you can say those DM3500s have refurbished A/C ducts...
