There are many people alighting at the bus stop (After pasir ris drive 3) along Loyang avenue after taking sbs 9, 19, 59 to transfer to 6 to go inside Loyang way and Loyang crescent in the early morning peak hours. It will inconvenience many people. Cheers.
I see. Understood. I don't have much knowledge when it comes to pax flow in that area.
@BA - maybe 89 or 109 go by that way on its way to Changi?

BIAAT - I would not disturb the routes of either services 6, 89 or 109 as all these are heavily patronized services and any change will cause inconvenience to pax.
There is a need for bus service though for the southern part of Loyang Industrial estate not catered to by sv 6. Here is my proposal:
sv 108
Pasir Ris Interchange
Pasir Ris Central (1 stop)
Pasir Ris Dr 1 (3 stops)
Pasir Ris St 12 (1 new stop @blk 192)
Pasir Ris St 11 (2 stops)
Pasir Ris Dr 2 (1 stop)
Loyang Way (new stop @ Loyang Depot)
Loyang Dr (3 new stops @Opp Comfort Delgro Engineering, Ns Tang, Opp Moki marine Engineering)
Loyang St (1 new stop @Rittal)
Loyang Lane (1 new stop @Young Heng Paper)
Loyang Dr (1 new stop @Toprint)
Loyang Way (new stop @ Loyang Depot)
Pasir Ris Dr 2 (1 stop)
Pasir Ris St 11 (2 new stops)
Pasir Ris St 12 (1 new stop)
Pasir Ris Dr 1 (3 stops)
Pasir Ris Central (1 stop)
Pasir Ris Interchange
* Connects lower sector of Loyang Industrial that has no bus service (very surprising that SBST has not introduced a service for this area inspite of high popularity of sv 6)
* Two way loading as it plies highly residential area of Pasir Ris Dr 2, st 11 and st 12 that do not have many alternatives to MRT (new stop along st 12 will provide doorstep bus service to HDB blocks there)
* Service will provide some relief to heavily crowded services like 359 and 6. Also faster than sv 359 to MRT for st 11/12 residents
* Fleet of 6 buses (3 DDs, 3 Citaros)
* Service under BSEP

Whats the use? There is no development there right now... buses flock empty (totally empty) from LCK area...
All, a portion of Loyang depot is in use now. The other potion is still undergoing construction. I saw around 10 sbs transit buses parked at the completed portion of Loyang depot today. Cheers.
Maybe Pasir Ris Svc

Maybe new service originates from Loyang Depot.
I think all Pasir Ris,Changi V/Airport and some Tampines Svc will park here

I think Loyang will control only Pasir Ris, Changi Village and maybe airport services
Bedok will continue to support Bedok/Eunos/UEC
Changi will support all of Tampines/CBP
We can expect 24/53/89 to go dual depot

Maybe its time for 48,13,39 to get dual control when LYDEP opens

Yes... absolutely... but 39 is already CGBP... u mean get some AMDEP duties for it?
Originally posted by BusAnalayzer:Yes... absolutely... but 39 is already CGBP... u mean get some AMDEP duties for it?
39 will probably be LYDEP/AMDEP... 13 will be AMDEP/BNDEP and 48 will be ARBP/BNDEP.
Originally posted by BusAnalayzer:Yes... absolutely... but 39 is already CGBP... u mean get some AMDEP duties for it?
Yes. It is obvious that CGBP is very far from Yishun.
My prediction of changes of depot control
88 BRBP/LYDEP
21 LYDEP/BRBP- 21 will take 88 spots inside BRBP
59 LYDEP/AMDEP- 59 and 58 can take 21 slots inside AMDEP
58 LYDEP/AMDEP
39 shld get AMDEP duties if 53 and 24 partial control to LYDEP
13 n 48 should get partial control by BNDEP when PSR svc parked at LYDEP
2 and 12 get find space at ARBP when 48 is partially controlled by BNDEP, 16 can also throw some bus to BNDEP, 93 also can partial BN/AR to relieve space for NBR svc.

All good suggestions... lets hope 24/53 also get LYDEP duties.. for 34 maybe it is okay if it is still full HGDEP controlled coz of short route... 81 can get some HGDEP duties once 89/109 moves some duties to LYDEP.
Question: how far is Punggol Int from Loyang depot? Is the distance comparable to Hougang depot? Because TBH, I feel that some Hougang depot services can shift to either AMK depot (86,136, etc) or Loyang depot (3, 34, etc)

Quite far. Around 7-8km. It is nearer to HGDEP and AMDEP.
86,136 will stay at AMDEP and will never change. 3 and 34 will stay at their respective depots

They will need to progressively shift some. I think HGDEP will be closer than LYDEP.
But definitely they will have to move some services like 86/136 and at least make them dual depot... considering they will need space for more Punggol/Sengkang services in future (given the massive construction happening in both Sengkang West town and Punggol west/waterway town)

AMDEP to Punggol/.Sengkang is really near though, shouldnt take more than 30 mins as the interchange is near TPE. I dont think they will dual depot these 2 buses.

If 141 can get dual depot, I think 86/136 can def get. This will only be in emergency case where they need space at HGDEP. IF not, no change required.

By right 141 n 50 dont need dual depot in the first place seriously.

PS, I always though 86/136 is dual-depot. Haha.
If you ask me, some NE services to areas like HBF/Shenton Way can be solo Hougang depot, since they can use KPE/MCE to go to the terminal (like how some Braddell depot buses use Bartley Viaduct to go to Tamp/Pasir Ris Int quickly)

86 136 have never been dual depot since idk when, HBF and SW are not at the NE part of Singapore, they are at the South.
By right the nearest depot is ARBP but sadly no space that why 70 162 2 12 stay as it is and dont try to push to HGDEP coz that depot is going to explode soon even though it have relieve 87 of its duties to BNDEP
