Would you explain on this statement? As far as I know, they've cleared literally almost all the trees along that stretch to bridge from PSR Dr 2/Dr 3 junction to Loyang Way.
Elevation wise I'm not so sure..because it seems like it's gonna be a really steep drop from PSR Dr 2/Dr 3 that T-junction all the way down to Loyang Way..
Expect very high built-up traffic at this area. Currently, if there is an accident at pasir ris drive 3 near loyang point in the morning 7.30am, traffic will snail crawl all the way from soon-to-be loyang depot to ntuc downtown east and pasir ris interchange. Good luck.

I think likewise in the opposite direction on Friday afternoons because of the nearby mosque's prayer session, the 2-lane PSR Dr 3 becomes a 1-lane road.
Eh just noticed this... There is a new food Hub next to the Bedok North Depot which means land taken back from BNDEP!?? BN shrink?!??

that piece of land is currently vacant...
Thanks for clarifications! the pdf annex is really misleading...
Tot BNDEP land is not permanent, ie subject to change by wic gahmen agency that owns it?!
Expected some changes to take place once Loyang Depot opens...
Tampines, Pasir Ris and Changi Village services - all shift to Loyang Depot
59, 109 - dual Loyang Depot
13, 43, 506 - dual CGBP
16, 48 - dual BNDEP
50, 57 - full AMDEP control
141 - full BRBP control
120, 121 - full ARBP control

All EUN routes under BNDEP.
109 better full LYBP. 88 can be majority BRBP. 400 can also go ARBP.
Suggestions:
Pasir Ris, Changi Village, Changi Airport (including 24, 27, 34, 53): partial/full LYBP
58, 59, 72, 88 partial LYBP
3 partial HGDEP/LYBP
86 partial HGDEP/AMDEP
13, 43, 87, 506: partial BNDEP
268 uses 86 DDs as upgrade while HGDEP replaces them
3,86,87,43 dont need.
Same goes for people saying 136 needed dual depot
141 can stay at BRBP, 50 can stay at AMDEP.
120/121 can go to ARBP
57 can give back to AMDEP and take in 100 duties from HGDEP.
48 can give some duty to BNDEP
16 also should do the same.
2 and 12 can either go ARBP or AMDEP

2 and 12 should be partial ARBP/AMDEP and BNDEP. Very well said about all the services!

Tomlinson Rd should have a terminal for at least 4 lots.Arbp can take a few duties and buses can shut off engine also.

No. It would cause traffic congestion. I propose 36 can extend to Buona Vista...
Some pics of Loyang depot, taken last Friday. Similar to Bulim depot, about 100 bus parking lots have been completed at the moment, while the rest of the site is still under construction. Pasir Ris Dr 2 is being extended to provide direct access to the depot, which is currently only accessible via Loyang Way.

Cannot la.. street v small... no space for terminal... 36 will remain as it is.. it is a pity but until an integrated bus interchange/terminal is constructed at Changi... this will be the state of 36..
I had also proposed 36 be extended to Bukit Merah Interchange via Tanglin, Redhill close but the response was there are people who alight at Orchard road... and others who board at Orchard Boulevard, who would be inconvenienced.
I surveyed the route twice.. and I have to agree... 36 has around 20-25 pax on bus on Tomlinson road... around 10-15 alight on Orchard road (before Scotts road junction) and there are around 10 pax who board at Orchard Boulevard... Hence, no change to route as of now.
Originally posted by carbikebus:Tomlinson Rd not so much boarding/alightings and its only a stop..can walk to the nearest bus stop..36 can extend to Bt Merah with no fuss..
Like I told you... this is what I had already suggested... the response I got..
It is not for the Tomlinson road stop... people board bus at Orchard Boulevard who want to alight at say Bras Basah or Dhoby Ghaut.. also people board at say Dhoby Ghaut and want to alight outside Thai Embassy take sv 36.

36 was once Bukit Merah - Changi Airport when it was 16E.

Hi mr ButIAmAToilet, definitely no. There are many people alighting at the bus stop (After pasir ris drive 3) along Loyang avenue after taking sbs 9, 19, 59 to transfer to 6 to go inside Loyang way and Loyang crescent in the early morning peak hours. It will inconvenience many people. Cheers.

Nothing more to add.. you captured it correctly, though it would be nice to have a service that will pass through depot road and do the lower edge of Loyang Industrial that does not have a bus service today.
