As for the comments by admin, yes it's rather totally out from the box. If the admin didn't put the comment there, it's more or less not going to affect the deal...
You order for this type of bodywork from MAN on a X brand buses, obviously people can think it's a MAN bus. How to affect?
The photos was not removed for nothing! And we still don't know where the bus is for. There is no evidence that it is for Singapore, so it is still a guess. Is there evidence that the bus is built by MAN? Or by Mercedes-Benz? And even if it is an admin who replied, it is still not right, just like if a police officer commits a crime, he/she will be arrested.

Nobody else said it's for Singapore except for the admins. There's no black/white evidence but the bodywork can tell it's probably by MAN. Because you are just telling me that a person looks like female but have no evidence that the person is really a female...
Come on la, nobody is so stupid not to know that the bodywork resembles the famous MAN Lion City. Even if it's not by MAN, perhaps Mercedes Benz, they should also know that the bodywork is from MAN, and people can mistaken it easily from the first look...
And referring to my post you've quoted, I don't even get his point clearly which party he's blaming. And from the bolded lines I've quoted from his sentences, I don't see a link to the current issue..

These photos are not with permission from Gemilang and as such should not be shared beyond this forum.

That is a foolish act those clones had done to expose themselves - by using that 'traditional' tone we have been hearing for ages. On the other hand, I'm very frustrated because the clones here have saved the pictures before any removal order was given and then use it to strike at us as if they are the loyalists and we are the betrayers. Yes, but apparently I wasn't even aware that he was referring to some people alerting SMRT about it.
All the while I tot he was commenting on people whom infer from the picture of the bus make and the company. I don't find that wrong, because you're just telling off from the picture.
