Ok.
Most likely for SBS Because smrt don buy DD But possible since bus service like 61 or 190 need it badly

The new interchanges will accommodate lesser bendy buses compared to now. I do not mind A24s but only if SMRT can maintain DDs, bendies and 12m buses well at once. Right now they do not seem to be able to be coping well with just bendy buses and 12m buses.

SBST suddenly buy MAN when their entire WAB DD fleet bar 1 are Volvos?
We don know yet, Smrt or SBS.

SMRT don't buy DD =/= forever don't buy DD...

ADAMS Coachlines on fb posted it on fb, then BIS shared it. Well, at least we know there's a DD coming to SG.

Just think of this, if you are the one who spread rumours or untruths about a product, causing a deal worth millions of dollars to fall through, do you feel guilty about it, and are you willing to pay for legal damages if they so wish to commence one against you? I urge all bus fans to exercise restraint regarding classified information, and to stop spreading whatever you think may be classified information. Also, bus fans should learn to step into the shoes of industry players before commenting, how would you think if the comments you make is used against you? I would therefore recommend the mods to close this thread, since Adams Coachlines has already removed the offending photos.
Hmm...so are you telling me that people buy shares without even doing some research then? O_o [Just Questioning]

Then what's the million of dollars for? O_o So messy~~ And how would that happen? Kindly elaborate your "story" please

Business contracts and trials are sensitive business.
And the way you guys treat such potential proprietary information would sooner scare away those who had meant to share with good intention!
Many of you never seem to learn.
Do you know what long-term harm many of you have done?
Time and again various firms in the industry have specifically cited you guys as reasons why they have been so tight-lipped.
How do you like telling people personal stuff and then in the next breath, you pick up your phone and proceed to share with your friends?
Please reflect on the long-term harm you guys have done. Though I have little hope for recourse judging from the attitudes here.
We don't even know whether it is for Singapore, let alone it be for SMRT/SBST. SO who said it is confirm for SMRT? Is there any livery yet??

Eh bro...livery =/= for SBST/SMRT also leh..both the King Long and OC500LE(Currently Chitson Transport) were in SBST livery, no logo. But it's also not for SBS Transit in the end..

Look at the past press releases by SBS and SMRT, every purchase they have made for buses is worth millions of dollars, and each purchase is a business deal for the industry players involved. Misinformation/rumours/leaked information about who the buyer/supplier is, and disparaging remarks about the manufacturer/customer like those on facebook, can affect the outcome of business deals.
Hmm..but if misinformation/rumours/leaked information about who the buyer/supplier is that easy to affect the industry, how come it didn't happen then? Not to say that I need to wait till it happen etc., but sometimes I think it's a little "too serious" when you guys start to "lecture"...
Further more, I don't think the industry would believe what's on social media? Because there's no evidence proving it too? [Just my say]

I'm talking about the guy who said the bus confirm will be painted new SMRT livery.

Are you sure it hasn't affected industry players? Do you work in the industry? If you think it wouldn't affect them, then why are non-disclosure agreements in place in the corporate world, and why are the photos removed?
We have to be serious regarding this as, the photo was removed, if it was ok to have rumours circulating around, they wouldn't have removed it. Yes the damage has been done, but as I said, removal of the photos is a signal for all to handle the information with care.
And here is the deal, every thing anyone says online can be used as evidence against them when there is a need.
I don't work in industry, but I would say that some informations aren't suppose to be trusted at times. Putting aside industry thing, imagine someone reported a rare cameo on 50, are you going to chiong down first straight or wait for some reliable sources?
It's somewhat all linked together, same logic somewhat. It's rather the different level. Hmm I would say that online stuff can't be trusted always though..

It still roughly get the basic relation ah? O_o...
But seriously, if the companies really trust the level of information posted on social media..abit primary level minded like :/
Anyway, there could be some other reason(s) for the photo to be remove luh...just saying~~

Ageeed, as I have said in another thread, the behaviour of bus fans these days are quite honestly, deplorable. Whilst the post was by Adams Coachlines , many of the Singaporean bus fans who commented on that post are acting in a way detrimental to business relationships in the bus industry, much less to say whatever that is left of the relationship between operators and bus fans.
There is no need for bus fans to obtain information through unscrupulous method, much less speculate on unconfirmed issues or to make disparaging remarks against a bus manufacturer that are downright rude. Mind you, whether a product is good for a customer is none of your business, the customer would had done their due dilligence before making any decisions. Such comments can affect the image of a company and may be considered as libel.
