I just went today to give a lecture at NUS. I never realized that NUS is so poorly connected by SBST. Sv 95 only takes care of the North leg of NUS and so does sv 96. The South leg is completely ignored where St. George Bus Terminal is. Students / professors have to rely only on shuttle bus here or cars.
Considering this, NTU is so well connected. Not only superb frequency and full fleet DD unlike 95, but also covers NTU Crescent area well with sv 199.
I propose 95X from Kent Ridge Ter via Kent Ridge Dr, St. Georges Park to Kent Ridge / BNV MRT and back.

Kent Ridge Cresent is already the hub of all transportation for NUS students. I took 151e all the time. It's not going to help by introducing more services because of the goddammed PM jam along Clementi Rd and the lack of planning for the road [ 1 lane and very squeezy ].

1. I seldom hear NUS peeps saying NUS is poorly connected. Poor frequency for the shuttles and various bus services, perhaps, but NOT poor connectivity (yes, NUS has more than 95 and 96, to be elaborated further).
2. NUS is not poorly connected by SBST. Are you kidding? I can name at least 15 bus services that can connect to NUS off-hand. I won't elaborate further. And no. It is not practical to have all 15 going in and out and around NUS. But really, there is already a BUS TERMINAL that has 7 services next to FASS. What else do you want?
3. What is St George Bus Terminal?? I was puzzled enough to do a google search wondering what I had missed out during my 5 years with NUS. If you mean PRINCE George Park, that place is 5-10 min walk away from an MRT STATION. It is also near to Pasir Panjang Rd where there are buses.
4. That "St George Bus Terminal" even has direct connection that doesnt charge a single additional cent to Botanic Gardens.
4. Next time you need to get around NUS, do ask around, or GOOGLE. Then perhaps you will realise sooner that these are not the problems actually with travelling within NUS. I promise I won't bite.

I don't have comments on NUS, but I won't say NTU is well connected at all.
Passengers from the NSL do not have a direct connectivity even though it is feasible to do so from either CCK, BBT or Yew Tee Stations plying via KJE. This would cut short travelling time for those staying in the north by quite some amount by not having to go through Boon Lay and Jurong East, as well as reducing passenger loads at the interchange. Have feedback multiple times on this, but no action done till date.
2 c worth,
Complaining in the forum will not solve matters...
Give feedback on www.reach.gov.sg and it will have an instantaneous response.
eg, i wrote to highlight on the inability to board sv36/48 during peak within peak and next day, LTA surveyor at bus stop taking bus timing, pictures of crowded sv36...
Nus or ntu transport is better?
Exam day...shouldn't you leave your house earlier than usual to expect the unexpected? O_o...
Camp outside the lecture theatre the day before.
Best.

No lah! That's really damn kiasu. The most arrive school 1-2hours earlier la, it won't affect much in your grades la dey haha..
Better queue overnight.
Get best seat in the LT.
If everyone be the early bird, even if the bus is pack, you're still early for exams. Why leave house late(yes it's everyone's habit) when you know you have exams on that day? :)
If everybody thought like you, there would be world peace.
And we would live happily ever after.

Obviously only another half of the people didn't think of that...
Frankly speaking, I have the habit of leaving house late and assuming that the transport will get me there on time.[For normal days] But it's never my likes when it's exam period..
