IMO SBST has more than enough buses now, especially DDs. what i mean is that they have a big enough fleet to go around including spares, such that svcs like 125, 130, 410 also got dd buses when sd fleet add would actually be enough. SMRT is severely lacking buses however, especially high capacity whether dd or bendy. ideally bsep fleet purchases should focus more on smrt, though bsep funding for smrt DDs is unlikely

Heh. Improving freq somemore. Total wastage of taxpayer money.

ya. i am not joking. i saw them. this happened on a weekday night around 10.30pm like that.
haha. indeed, 972 very popular. even at that timing, there's one time the bus is full to the brim, and there's another bus with full sitting
Rest assured that 972 will get more passengers once the new hdb flat precincts in segar and fajar are completed. Right now it takes some of the strain off 190 & 700, but things may change after the new flats.

In time 972 will be as popular as 190. This one will be a worthy candidate for DDs as well, as it's route does not duplicate DTL.

You are too negative and your statement is too general. I don't think Sv 4, 20, 50, 116 snail nor have I seen bunching on these services. 972 is a special case but it is improving compared to first few days. Weird that you say on one hand we need more buses and then you say it is a waste. BSEP has relieved loading on lots of services.

Agreed totally.

Sv 43 got a WEG fleet add. I had expected a SD slot getting cinverted to DD considering loading... Didn't expect a dd fleet add.
