2nd link toll more expensive and more far away.....so less ppl use it.

but i would rather walk across the causeway just like what i used to do several yrs back. its the most efficient. but since the new jb checkpoint was built i dont think can walk across anymore.
there are already unofficial bus lane..... no matter whether the buses come at 1 min interval or not, there will still be queue at immigration counters during peak hours. make even worst during peak hours is those factories worker buses/school buses....all come at same time...

Don't think so. I survived with just $5 in my ez-link card.
Mod, probably naming this thread "Suggestions to fix the peak hour problem at Woodlands Checkpoint"
I will say expanding the causeway at WL, and hv a lane for heavy duties vehicles, having 3 lanes for Cars, Vans (Private Uses).
The trucks which are bound to the port can be split when it is near, while the bus section won't cut into the car section, hence having a faster clearance.
Changed as requested.
have new walk way link from singapore to JB side. tis might reduce the public transport demand.
i remember last time our woodlands causeway can walk across..

Ya
Just need lane all the way for buses and vans/private vans, tour bus Oso under bus lane.
2car lane, and one heavy vehicle lane, both directions
