I don't think all of these 4 buses will be extended...I remembered at least 2 of them have unrefurbished grey AC ducts...
Think someone should double-check the list for the Batch 2 K230UBs that are fitted with 3rd brake lights. Some of them, like 8210J, only has the 3rd brake light up till now; JB black info box stix on the sides not up yet at all.
Because in the list, they are classified tgt with those with 3rd brake light + JB info box stix.
Buses with 3rd brake lights: 60 buses
Note: Some of the listed buses also have the JB black stickers

I made some changes to the list. But eventually all of them will get the stickers, and now most of them have it pasted already, so I am not going to make another list as it will make the list quite long.
SBS 8318H don`t have 3rd brake light and the jb stix pasted yet
SBS8204C spotted on 163 today with not only 3rd brake light, also with JB sticker and company black sticker as well.
Likely to go over BBDEP soon

2809 2833 to HGDEP.
2809Y on 83, source from others.

It seems SBS Transit are changing their minds? There are 3 DM500 that are transferred to HGDEP.My guess is that SBS Transit want to use only Scania buses
Gt 1 kub from HGDEP Sv.100 also got JB STIX

It has nothing much to do with the brand of the bus. It's got to do more with the impending lifespan expiry of the buses.
Why waste all the hassle into getting all the paperwork done for the DM3500s that will go off within the next 5 years max if they're fully extended? When they could put in the KUBs that have another decent 10-12+ years before being taken off the roads?
They probably saw that the KUBs would be lesser of a hassle to swap into the JB svcs in the long-term before requiring another major swap some 10 years later.

8204C still in HGDEP as of today. on Sv 109. might be going over next week or something..
The logic here seems to me that maybe 170 would be dual depot control.otherwise those buses would not have been transfred to HG alr and those HG KUBs would not have Jb stickers alr.Maybe the possibly because queen street is nearer to HGDEP?
By the way any of the 170's fleet on HGDEP svc today?

If that's the case SBST should have directly replaced all the JB MK3s with K230UBs back in Aug 2011. It seems that the efforts of registering the DM3500s with JB and making rectangular side destos for 160/170 had gone down the drain if 160/170 is to get full fleet K230UBs soon.

Adding on 2793H.
I remember all these DM3500s were previously transferred from east district depots just last year only. Think most probably due to the recent mass dereg of the Striders that made HGDEP got take in some of these buses as well (despite also the large number of new 67xx Citaros to HGDEP).

LOL..did SBST did some selective picking?
Didn't send SBS8138K over lol

more KUBs than DM3500s... most probably the KUB should be for 170 & especially 170X
but dun rule out the possibility that 160 will also have KUB

Actually I do agree with SBS9631X. I was wondering if SBST had other plans when they did not transfer SBS2826Y even though its ad had been removed for quite some time. The destos can always be kept as spares, and wouldn't they been wasting their efforts if they were to transfer out DM3500s that they have prepared for JB registration? Also, SBST has always been reluctant in deploying their newer buses for JB services, hence the Mk4s, even now they are using the older KUBs.
