Haiz,i dun understand why sbs wants to deploy wheel chair bus only to normal service, this cause alot of space wasted and alot of ppl dun get to sit.they can mix mix mah.
And besides dm3500 interior is consider more cpmfortable than the other buses and it doesn't vibrate. Why sbs nvr use their mind and think one?they should totally get more of those buses on normal services.

Wonder why must DM3500s again?

I guess its SBS's habit of deploying their oldest buses on JB services. Even KUB they also just solely use the Batch 1 Euro 4s.
SBS8104H (ARBP 32)
Currently there are 80 JB registered buses, consisting of 76 DM3500s and 4 Striders. I believe SBS is only keeping SBS2789X onwards for JB services, since these buses are registered from 26 Dec 2000 onwards.
SBS2790R and SBS2826Y should be transferred over when their ads expire, while revenue equipments have to re-installed for SBS2819T before the transfer.
With that, there will be a total of 39 DM3500s and 41 KUBs that will be JB-registered. BBDEP and ARBP combined has 44 Batch 1 KUBs, but the 8 KUBs will probably be retained under training, so AMDEP/BBDEP will have to transfer 5 more Batch 1 KUBs.
Add in SBS8053X (BBDEP 282)

This might indirectly answer 'SBS9C' 's comment that AMDEP might have to send 5 more Batch 1 Euro IV KUBs over to BBDEP.. Because if they had to, they could have send all from BR 63 over. But they kept 3 of those back in BR 63.
Which possibly hints that they alr have enough in qty back in their own district (BB/AR/SL/HG).
And I do think they might want to keep their current fleet of own BB/HG Training KUBs as TRG buses still, because they need them to train the new BCs anyway for the 1000+ KUBs running around.
Basically IMO, those in the other West-district depots are likely mostly going over somehow to BBDEP. Just that the swaps won't be that complicated logistically since it won't be a cross-district swap. There's a reason why they kope from AM/BR first.
Even 8888D might not be spared i think if they really need the Batch 1 KUBs~

there are 50 DM3500s from 2789 to 2838... so most likely they will deploy 48 DM3500s plus 32 KUB instead.. and sv160 most likely will get 20 DM3500 (including SP), while 170X will get majority KUB, and 170 will get DM3500....

Oh yeah I miscounted, there is a total of 49 DM3500s. That means only 31 KUBs are needed.
There are 36 non training Euro 4 Batch 1 KUBs, so they would probably just leave out 5 buses, or increase the total fleet of JB registered buses to 85.
