A heated disagreement has broken out between bus enthusiasts over the origin of this dark blue bus seat cover, believed to have been taken from an SMRT bus recently.
In an earlier article, a bus driver had apparentlyclaimed to have made a Police report over missing items taken from an SMRT bus, including a seat cover in this shade of dark blue.
Now, a seat cover matching the missing one has appeared in the background of a bus fan's photo, leading to some of his fellow fans accusing him of taking it from a bus.
In one post, the accused fan even states that the cover in the picture was not connected with the bus mentioned in the report, but was taken from another bus.

"I saw this huge argument on Facebook.
"Bus fans are accusing each other of taking bus seat covers and other parts featured on STOMP, after a photo was posted by one bus fan showing a seat cover that matches the missing item's description.
"In the top left corner of the photo, a seat can be seen with a dark blue seat cover very similar to missing one.
"I heard the bus driver filed a police report over the case.
"I wonder which bus fan is responsible?"
STOMPer GB, who sent in the first two pictures in the gallery below, said that one of the images showed a youth who appears to be posing from the driver's seat of the bus.
He elaborates:
"Photos from the Singapore Buses forum shows these bus enthusiasts who stood at a divider to take photos a bus, even though there were cars near them.
"Another youth, who appears to be a bus enthusiast, is seated on driver seat of a bus at a bus terminal.
"Only authorized staff should be allowed on the driver's seat."
