  Dont bother taking bus at all. U will waste money,waste time. MRT is the best 1h+ from  east to west. Bus-2 to 3h inclusive of jams. Rather endure being sandwiched for 1h than sitting inside bus for 2-3h which gives u backaches.

  Too add on, Tampines is at 1 end of Singapore...

  Why not worse come to worse, take the train to pasir ris and seat all the way to Boon Lay?

  From Tampines Int 23 to Jalan Kolam Ayer 966 Jalan Kolam Ayer to Bukit panjang CC 180 Bukit panjang CC library to Boon lay

  If you want to save time, you can change into 174 along Bukit Batok Road, before PIE

  Fastest: 513 to Marina Bay and transfer to 502 to Boon Lay (get down to one street parallel).

  Take sv.22 to bedok resevior road than sv.506 to bukit batok than sv.174 to Boon Lay int via Jurong road. Took before quite fast

  Bus concession travel is NOT valid on Express services (502, 506, 513, 518).
