Agree. After DTL there will need to be major rationalization for service 171 and 700. Still there will be 66, 67 in parallel to DTL.

yeah agree, need services to duplicate MRT lines, look at the recent NEL breakdown, 133 107 all that suddenly demand go boomz. 65 66 700 67 all that should remain, not sure about 171... can rationalise but people at bukit timah later kpkb
Bt Timah not a problem cause mostly all well to do FTs.Yishun to BPJ is essential cannot suka2 cut.Plus there will sure be amendment..

few years ago SMRT was able to use the Dennis Lance buses for 825 because it went to countryside estate from Lentor Rd, but however now 825 has to go through to Lentor Loop end before making a u-turn back to Countryside estate. it maybe hard for the citaro's to go to lentor loop unless: 1. 825 returns to it's old route but making the residents of lentor crescent and lentor street to walk back to lentor road to take 825 or 2. try reversing the citaro's at the end(which however can obstruct traffic in the morning and/or their might be cars parking there making it not possible)
of course this is my personal opinion plus i do live in the area so i seek forgiveness if my opinions are incorrect
