"For a start, these new bus services, which will be run by private bus operators, will make 2 one-way trips in the mornings, from the housing estates towards the CBD. In the evenings, similar one-way trips will take you back home. More trips may be added depending on the demand for the services.
9 more City Direct bus services for commuters living in Ang Mo Kio, Bedok, Bukit Batok, Eunos, Hougang, Jurong East, Sembawang, Sengkang and West Coast! Commuters can enjoy improved connectivity to and from the Central Business District (CBD), which will be added progressively from January next year!
With limited stops and the use of expressways, the journey time for each of the City Direct services is expected to be comparable to taking a feeder bus service, and transferring to the MRT into the city.
