  Lor 1 Geylang <--> Toa Payoh Interchange.

  Surprisingly there is a dedicated thread for svc 20, but none for 141.

  141 going back to some old route and a bit of amend and a new route in the making but LTA should let it go to Ubi interchange that will be better.

  I think svc 141 will have at least 8 buses. It will provide a good alternative for people from Kentish Green and Pei Ko Estate to Farrer Park MRT as 131 does not cover it on its way to Shenton Way.

  I also like the number 141. Goes well with Toa Payoh that has 139, 142, 143, 145 and also the parallelism with the route 131 from Thomson to Farrer Park area.

  20 the most will get 2 split DDs and 141 potential for 3 DDs..

  So what is the loading prediction?

  For 141, I think both ways peak loading will be 40 pax.

  For 20, the AM peak towards CBP can have 80-90 pax and the direction towards Tampines will have 30-35 pax peak loading. I see 20A being launched in a few months.

  I see the point that there are many spare DDs, so 141 might get DDs, but I don't think a new service like this needs any DDs to begin with.

  On the other hand, svc 20 as it will have very high AM / PM loading, should get DDs from day 1.

  I think svc 4 should also get 2 Wrights. It should have 4 Citaros, 2 Wrights as the loading is pretty good.

  What problem do you have with the bus going to Caldecott. That's the nice part of the route.

  Since when does Caldecott even considered Ulu. It has a nursing home, Lighthouse School, a MRT station and 2 bus passing by there. It shows me that this fool has never travel to the whole of Toa Payoh Rise before.

  Exactly. Caldecott and TPY Lor 1 needed another service. And this guy points out this part of the route as ulu.

  That not even ulu in the first place. Maybe he dont understand the word ulu. Shld ask him to go walk on Mandai Road where 927/171 plies then can say ulu.

  with new hdb flats coming up in two to three years time i think service 141 pax will increase and this bus service can help to reduce 145 load. in fact i think LTA should extend 141 to eunos interchange.

  i think 141 loading will be around like 145
